Nah. I liked the bulkiness of the War Machine armor in IM2, I've just always had a special place in my heart for thinner, sleeker versions of the armor.

Agreed tho that WM should be bulkier
After all, I understand the government painting the suit
But how could they possibly redesign the actual mechanics of it without Stark's involvement??

I understand this director wanting to put his own stamp on the franchsie while still keeping true to the ironman suit and character but those colors are fugly and the tan is way too dominating. If he was fighting in just the desert the whole movie then Id giveum a pass. WM head looks like the aliens for charlie sheens the arrival.

I noticed that too. It looks like they maybe landed between them, and left their armors. I wonder what this scene will be about? It should be interesting.

The armors look interesting. I wonder if we'll get to see the War Machine armor being upgraded or if it'll already be like that when the movie starts? I can't wait to see what the new armors can do.

The scene is shot at a South Florida replica of Neptune's Net, a real-life popular seafood restaurant in Malibu. The scene shows a ton of motorcycles parked there, so yeah, it seems to be a biker hangout for the movie.

I'm with you there. I was looking forward to seeing the War Machine again. Oh well.

In fact, I don't like this new Iron Man suit either. It's starting to look a bit more busy than I care for. The red suits looked great.

Funny that they are filming a scene in Florida to double for Malibu .

Probably too expensive to actually shoot in Malibu for a production like this these days.

Shooting in CA is very expensive due to all the different taxes, union laws, and film location restrictions. That's why we've seen so many states open up to filming with their tax incentives. The states figure that any money that they lose in normal taxes is offset by the boost to the economy of a whole film crew coming and filming for either a couple weeks or a couple months.
