Is Reeves' Batman set in 80s too?
Due to recent news involving X, formerly Twitter and its owner, the staff of SuperHeroHype have decided it would be best to no longer allow links on the board. Starting January 31st, users will no longer be able to post direct links to X on this site, however screenshots will still be allowed as long as they follow Hype rules and guidelines. We apologize for any inconvenience.

That Hashtag Show also has character breakdowns for the film.

De Niro would be an amazing get, but unlikely. Still, if Scorsese is still producing this, hmm.
I wouldn't mind that either. Also, why exactly 80s...I wouldn't mind that. I really want Gotham to be timeless actually. A mixture of old and new just like they did it on Gotham and BTAS.
So like Burton's?I wouldn't mind that. I really want Gotham to be timeless actually. A mixture of old and new just like they did it on Gotham and BTAS.
Burton's first two outings are the only movies to nail Gotham, IMO. Nolan did a pretty good job in Begins though.
Totally agreed! I want them to try again for something a bit more fantastical like the Gotham listed in those movies

I remember our first "look" at his Joker was from those blurry paparazzi photos of him looking at a costume test on his cell phone. Obviously we couldn't tell he had tattoos and metal teeth from those, so at the time we thought he looked pretty traditional and we all got very excited about it.^That's not bad. I do hope we get a bit more traditional with the overall aesthetic. I don't really want to see any kind of gimmicks with scars, tattoos, etc. I just want a more traditional looking Joker.
I still think the Leto reveal was one of the worst character reveals I have ever seen. Just terrible.
Leto has been busy setting up a film slate that includes a solo Joker movie at Warner Bros. Sources say this film does not affect that role.
