Totally just voted for Henry 10 straight times for the TCA..

..lawd lol.

Police station scene? What police station scene? In Gotham?

Was it the one where Gordon saw the pictures of the Parademons or right before the criminal got sent to his cell? Wasn't there more to that scene?

JK Simmons said he wasnt part of the reshoots...

Mark McClure(Jimmy Olsen) shared this on a con :

I am so angry about what they did to Lois in this movie. That it affected how much we saw of a Superman mythos veteran actor like McClure makes me even more angry.

I believe he might be referring to the prison scene with Barry and his dad. McClure is the officer at the sign in window during the scene where Barry draws on the guy's face. He also sends a message to Bruce or Alfred via his cell phone to alert them of Barry's whereabouts.

Doesn't mean his scenes weren't cut. Also, didn't Eisenberg say he wasn't part of reshoots then it turned out he was?

Honestly I just think we as fans need to move on. Snyder's movie probably a mix between MOS and BvS. Which to me is a good thing but to others might be bad. Which is probably why the WB reshot more than half the movie. As much as I would love to see the movie it's just time to move on.

I'd be happy to move on. Its just that every time I do, Zack or somebody shares a tidbit about what was in his movie and it just gets to me. Ive said this before but I wish they'd just tell us upfront theres no hope for a directors cut instead of dangling a tasty, tasy carrot in front of us.

Agreed because I'm in the same boat as you. It's also harder because I am a huge Superman fan and it doesn't look like we'll be seeing anything big from him soon which is also disheartening. The Snyder cut for me was my last hope at getting something good involving Superman at least for the foreseeable future. But that doesn't look to be happening. So it's just time to move on.

Have hope, _Superman_. Henry is hard at work.

Hopefully it's for the Shazam appearance as rumored.

There's always calls for the standard reshoots. It's possible they can add Henry's scenes in as part of reshoots to coincide with his schedule. Shazam! was under wraps pretty well so there's no telling if they snuck Henry in or if he has any scenes as Clark.

I'm sure we will get the Snyder cut eventually, whether WB release next year, or in ten years.

Worst case scenario Snyder releases it frame by frame by frame on Vero and we reassemble it.

If I were WB I'd just move on from the Snyder Cut, the infighting of the campaign and going after Johns is not helping the campaign's goal and image and I'd just let it die down when Aquaman and Shazam's hype and buzz drowns it out, if those films are great.

Plus they just pushed the promotions as far away from JL as possible, why the heck remind everyone of JL again when AM and WW84 promotion just ramped up and gave DC a positive week?

Though releasing the Snyder cut is possible maybe when this iteration has a consistent reputation that wont be affected by the noise, or when this universe is getting a hard reboot we might see it. THough an extended cut is a possibility that might happen quicker, as that's a pretty legitimate thing to do and less controversial.

Though I would love to see the Snyder cut right now! But it is what it is.

And just read Mark Hughes reports, F***, is this reboot s*** and Cavill's finished thing his own speculation and "what he would do" or is he hinting or reporting on solid Intels?

El Maybe has been pretty solid lately (he called him out for saying AM trailer at SDCC in March and I was totally wrong lol) and he said in April MOS2 is still a priority, and Robles says the same thing (ok he got hit at the AM thing but he stood firm with Affleck's situation even after Daniel R reported otherwise and looks like he got that one right), and Cavill's responses with the press were quite telling and McQuerrie's responses etc....

And didn't we hear about 3 big directors joining soon and one of them being as big as Spielberg?

I just don't see them hard rebooting this thing when Margot Robbie is taking off, Johns writing GLC, and Shazam, Aquaman and WW surely will get 1-2 more sequels each, WBjust letting everything else been hold for 6-7 years?

Unless they are shifting Bat, Sup, GL, Flash to DC Black...that would just be super confusing even for fans lol

It was all an opinion piece. Hughes has had bad outings lately. I stopped reading him ages ago and he gets blasted by his followers most of the time. All of his write-ups are super long- winded and speculation that goes off the rails into a wormhole of text that amounts to nothing. He basically does what we do. I would rather just read my favorite posters here quite frankly instead lol.

Haha ya I get lost on which part is speculation and which is concrete info.

He did insist Batgirl was still last year AND after Whedon left and people claimed it was all a cover up, few weeks later boom, Christina Hodgeson writing the batgirl script and BG will be with Harley for BOP. Lol.

So his latest piece does say Batman starts shooting next April and Reeves turned in 30+/- pages, fingers crossed. And the other parts are just confusing whether it's facts or speculation lol

He had details wrong about his comments on Snyder's JL Cut that prompted Jay Olivia to call him out and literally a day after his piece mentioning Henry's Superman, Cavill goes on Instagram beastin' in the gym teasing a Superman return. Hughes has knowledge but most of his stuff is his own personal blog-like thoughts. Nothing he ever wrote felt concrete to me. He was coming out with article after article when the whole Affleck thing was at its peak and it was basically all jibberish.

More interesting news about Geoff Johns and Zack Snyder and how the studio ousted them in favor of Joss Whedon.
[YT]sUHo6RnbHUw[/YT]

So maybe Johns' vision was rather different from the Whedon's one. And studio put both him and Zack aside and let Whedon take over the whole thing...?

I think the Studio was under pressure from Time Warner shareholders to 'fix' the movie, and they asked KT to make sure it was done, KT got Whedon in the directors' seat, asked Jon Berg to be present on the set daily, and mandated a shorter runtime, asked Whedon to put as many 'jokes' as he can, and then some more.

I think even Whedon was not very happy with the outcome, which is why he put 'I tried' in the opening credits. A messy situation all-around.

Oh no doubt Whedon is kicking himself for ever getting involved. This movie seems to have dragged his reputation through the mud in an ugly way and people seem to carry a lot of resentment for him now. And although Whedon can definitely be blamed for some things i think we have to cut him a break because he had an impossible task ahead of him. Had Whedon written and directed this thing from day one, it would have been a much MUCH better film.
