Superman is not going to have a Luke Skywalker like Force Awakens cameo. Do I think he's going to have a ton of screentime? I doubt it but because they are going to want to play up the stupid death angle that they never should have done, but he will have a real role.
I am starting to become mixed on whether I even want him to have a lot of screentime under Snyder. I'm hoping with the good notices for CWverse Superman that WB definitively gets it through their thick skulls that nobody wants super dreary, Grimmerman anymore. Certainly I don't want a movie Superman exactly like that clearly Reeve inspired version because they should do their own thing but I like Superman more when he isn't a depressed and grim mess 90% of the time.
I'd like a Superman who cares about more than Lois and his mother, who cares about humanity more as a whole and doesn't completely fall apart like a little ***** when times are hard and everyone doesn't love him. He's not freakin Spider-Man afterall.
