Vision could have easily ended it as well. They also should have left him out. I'm excited to see how they utilize batman in the film.
lol, that's why thor wasn't in civil war. dude would've ended the fight in 3 seconds.
I'm not sure if you'd call this taking your heroes seriously or not, but I liked how in SS the team's motivation went from "let's kill the CO and bail out" to "we have to protect our CO, because if we don't, we're dead." I'd like to see more of that where motivation is concerned.
Imax and Warner Bros. Pictures have extended their 13-year partnership with a deal to release up to 12 of the Hollywood studios upcoming tentpoles.
The latest agreement includes 2017's Kong: Skull Island and Warner's Godzilla sequel, Tomb Raider, Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and The Lego Batman Movie.
Also included in the Warner Bros. slate headed to Imax screens are Minecraft, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel, and
announced Justice League, Wonder Woman and additional DC titles.
Plus, the deal includes Christopher Nolan's previously announced film Dunkirk, which will capture material and key sequences using Imax cameras.
Warner Bros. since 2003 has turned to Imaxs super-sized screens to help release its tentpole pictures.
"We are very pleased to continue our longstanding partnership with Imax with these exceptional pictures and look forward to ensuring our audiences have the opportunity to see a range of diverse films on the largest and most immersive canvas possible," said Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing and distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Personally, I don't dislike mind realism in superhero films, but nowadays I'd much prefer comic books based off properties with real lore and superheroics to fully embrace their concepts more. That's what I really like about the MCU for example.
In the MCU they power down the rest of the Avengers in order to make Hawkeye and Widow look useful. I mean, Cap looks so underpowered in Avengers movies compared to him say beating up Iron Man, and Thor especially gets depowered so that he only fights one on one.
So with Batman, I think they'll primarily make him the guy that is all tactical. He works how to win then coordinates the group tactically. He'll certainly have moments where his gadgets have use, like the kryptonite shot against DD, but mostly tactics. A human just can't compete on a level against super powers, unless he has time to prepare tactically. I do think the DCEU will honour Batman's tactical gifts and experience.
The power of the individual Avengers fluctuates film-to-film, or to suit the circumstances... you say Cap looks underpowered in the Avengers films, yet in Civil War he is shown to be on par strengthwise with Spiderman Marvel's own site says Spidey's strenght far outweighs Caps.
Thor doesn't seem very 'god-like' in any of the movies he's been in either!
One of the things i've loved most about the DCEU movies so far is Superman is shown to be extremely powerful, and the consequence of beings like that fighting in a large city would be catastrophic... not a bit of rubble (like the first Avengers movie)!
It took me a bit but I really grew to love the new theme. Both the Batman and brooding Bruce Wayne themes. Its very dark and melancholic but it reflects Bruce's mindstate in the film.
I think my favorite piece from the soundtrack, besides "Is She with You?" which is just freaking epic, is the score that plays during the Knightmare sequence. I love love that piece, it literally sounds like a twisted nightmare.

Exactly.Thats why I feel like after JL Zack is probably done. Not because i dont think he enjoys making these movies but these big budget blockbusters take so much out of you mentally and physically. Two Avengers films broke a comic geek like Joss Whedon, I think Zack's gonna be exhausted after JL.
