The Me Too Movement: The Sexual Harassment and Assault Thread

Just started reading into this, and its pretty crazy.
I thought it felt a bit weird how suddenly there was this push to make Blake Lively out to be a bad person.
That whole "nightmare interview" thing felt especially weird.

Very creepy but it seems Blake Lively and her Lawyers are well prepared, so that is good.
Hope the creep never gets a job anymore in Hollywood.

What’s really strange is that, in the weeks leading up to the film, I saw someone point out that none of the cast followed Baldoni on social media and they started speculating. And then in no time at all, it turned into “Well, I guess SHE’S the bad guy.”

I always felt like the rumors about Baldoni on set could be true. But I also watched Lively in interviews with my eyes. So, this struck me as a “both things can be true at the same time” sorta deal.

None of this is to say that Lively being unlikable justifies sexual harassment. It doesn’t, period. So hopefully she sees some form of justice there.

While i will admit that Depps PR team worked hard to smear Heard, she shouldnt use this now to play innocent...because what she admitted to have said and done, what was proven, was pretty bad on its own.
I still stay with the opinion that Depp and Heard were bad for each other and that its unfair Heard had to walk away from her Career while Depp could still keep his despite being also proven to be an abuser.
Using another womans pain, is however not a good look.

Thats one of those things you notice, that the blame first falls on the Woman.
When you look at the recent cases of Influencers etc that got into trouble, the blame was always on the women.
Like the Dr Disrespect thing where he admitted to writting knowingly a underaged teen...yet so many did the "did SHE lie to him first" thing.

At this point you find few who would not throw the man under the bus to save themself.
PR teams of a few Celebritys probably work already on tactics to do so...and the worst thing is that it will work.
Diddys downfall should drag everyone who was involved in his disgusting actions, down with him.

She still should apologize to that reporter tho. Take a page out of classy Hathaway and have it go away. Eh.

“I’m turning down all the big jobs. You guys just wouldn’t know them, they live in Canada…”
