"The Multiversers: Hypertime" Signup/OOC Thread

Codename: N/A

Real name: Bat-Mite

Age: Doesn't age.

Height: 4'6" (though he'll get taller as he progresses)

Weight: 120 (see height)

Eyes: White

Hair: Has none under that cowl

Occupation: "Stay out of everyone's way."

Marital Status: None.

Known Relatives: Well, him and Mr. Mxylypik are occasional drinking buddies...

Group Affiliation (history of group needed): Former member of the forth demension, kicked out.

Universe/Timeline history*: After the Crisis, the powers-that-be put Bat-Mite in a small worm-hole between the new universe. Essentially, think the thing that Alex, Superboy-Prime, Lois-2, and Superman-2 were in, but for the oppisate reason, because there were too many variables in letting him die, and was too much of a trouble-maker to keep roaming the universe.

History: After seeing the Caped Crusader in action, Bat-Mite is awestruck, and becomes his biggest fan. In Earth-Two, he was, though a bit michevious, an accepted member of the Bat-Family.

Skills: As an imp of the Forth Demension, he has the power to bend the universe he's in to his will.

Powers (comparative to main DC Universe characters): Mr. Mxylyxpik.

Hero, anti-hero, villain?: Tragic villian.

I was hoping you'd like the big D. Can't wait to use him.
Certainly will be interesting to see the other heroes reaction to him when he first pops up.

DD will make a good addition to the team. Also, I'll be willing to take over some of the GM dueties, but I feel a tad weird playing and GMing this RPG at the same time. So, if anyone wants to take over the GMing or take The Jester's place, do speak up.

It'll be interesting, to say the least. Though not a situation DD is unfamiliar with.

"And then there were 5."

I so deserve a promotion for hooking you two. :o ;)

Glad to have more than just our select group of three. :)

What exactly do you mean?

How's this...I'll GM and you come up and lead the stories?
We can split the NPC characters between the two of us. *i.e. the creepy guy who pulls us out of our universes*

Also as a thought...what if we have a 'group' of chosen? Say this next arc I play a MRC and then the arc after that I want to be a Chosen..but want it to be my Black Canary character and not my Superwoman one.

So I'd have in essence two regular Chosen characters but I only play one character per arc?

*checks off another RPG she's controlling*

Soon, very soon..I will RULE them ALL!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

:O

:p ;)
j/k

Anyway when/how are we going to end the arc we have and whats the next one?

I like the idea of having little 'arcs' or stories instead of a huge long 'season' so each story is a thread...

And I know you have ideas Q...you're chalked full of them...*points to the beginning of the thread and the One Universe Thread*

I know I've been thinking of an idea for an arc. And with a powerhouse like Doomsday in the group it may not be much a problem.

I've got a few. One involves Batman going off the deep end, organizing a huge malitia, and conquering the east coast.

Oh, Question I like that one...it would be perfect for my Black Canary III character. :)

In that DD will make it not possible, or he'll make it possible?

Well, his power would make things a whole lot easier.

Assuming DD is violent, of course.

Which I wouldn't expect a being who loves life to be, necessarily...

Just because he loves life doesn't mean he wouldn't get violent if need be. Superman loves life, but he's willing to throw down when he needs to.

Well, let's say that DD is not Doomsday, and leave it at that. I'm personally interested in your arc, and I wonder how Doomsday can upset it so.

EDIT:Sorry...I...didn't mean to post this. :o

He wouldn't upset it at all. In fact, his tremendous power would come in handy.

My arc idea takes place on an Earth that has been taken over by Darkseid.
In brief, Darkseid has defeated and killed the majority of Earth's heroes (all the major ones like Superman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Wonder Woman, Dr. Fate, etc) and villains (no Lex, Black Adam, Brainiac, Amazo, etc), and has taken the planet and transformed it into a kind of new Apokolips. The Chosen's mission would be to defeat Darkseid by helping to fullfill an old prophecy. The prophecy the heroes would fullfill is helping Orion, who is one of the few heroes remaining on the planet to appose Darkseid, to kill his father take his place as Lord of Apokolips. With Orion in charge and Darkseid gone, the forces of Apokolips would slowly begin to crumble away. Thus allowing the Earth to return to the peace it knew before the invaders appeared, over time of course.

Anyway, that's the basic jist of it.
With the Earth being Apokolipsified, as it were, it would be rough going for the heroes. So, the addition of Doomsday to the group would make the going much, much easier.
Course, it would probably be a decent sized arc (might be about a month of good RPing), so it may not work if we want to keep things short and simple. And, even with DD, it definitely wouldn't be a cakewalk getting through Darkseid's minions and getting Orion a face to face with his pops.

Still, something to think about though...

Well, we just did an alien invasion arc. Mabey we could do something different. Like, I had an idea for a story that takes place in New York. The story involves Clark Kent, a reporter for the times, and Barry Allen, a forensic scientist for the NYPD, investigating crime bodd Lex Luthor, with the help of the mysterious Batman vigilante. Luthor's trying to have Diana and Aurthur (whatever their last name is), two diplomats from Greece, assasinated, as to insite political tension and boost his arms dealing profits. We could say that that could lead to WWIII, and that could lead to an intergalactic war (somehow), and thus result in bloodshed across the galaxies.

Ohhh..Deep......

I kinda agree..I love your idea Johhny, and I think DD would be great in an arc like that. In fact I'd like to use Kara for it too. Or many a different powered hero..a minor one maybe a MRC.

Anyway I'd like to do an arc wich would work for characters without 'powers.'

Like that Batman one..*someone wanna be a baddy?;)* or the one Q just suggested that can be worked around. Take the intergalactic war out...and it'll suit just fine.

Also I kinda tried to suggest it earlier but I don't know how well it came out.
These arcs or stories don't have to be long. We can take our time with them..goodness knows the arc we have now went like *snaps fingers* once we started posting again.

Me and Batn talked about it as this was starting, and we agreed that the Bat-Mite arc would be next after the inter-galactic war.
