Universe/Timeline history*: In this universe,there are no legacies.There are legends,plain and simple.Heroes like Superman,Batman,The Flash,Wonder Woman,The Green Lantern,Martian Manhunter,and Black Canary were never given their mantles by others,and never had sucessors or partners.They didn't need them.They were the greatest superheroes of their universe.Superman was cloned from a Kryptonian martian,J'onn-El,who later became the Martian Manhunter,and a brilliant scientist,Lex Luthor.Batman's sucessful acrobat parents were brutally murdered during an act for the St.Dumas charity circus.Wonder Woman was born as the bloodborne queen of Themiscara.The Green Lantern was chosen by The Lantern Corps as the Green Lantern of earth,and has remained the only one to this day.The Black Canary was the first,and only of her kind,never having a daughter to suceed her.
The Villians,however,are also as legendary as the heroes.General Cold,An atlantian madman who uses cryogenic technology to render his enemies into a frozen state,was one.The psychotic Jokester,having mutliple personality disorder,kills his victims with elaborate toys and gadgets,and then paints a smile on their face with their own blood,is another.The Ring Master,an evil Green Lantern corp from another demension,uses his ring to manipulate objects around him,and create optical illusions to confuse and distraught his enemies,is yet another one.And,of course,Zoom...The genetic yet evil,flawed,and disfigured clone of The Flash,who is twice as strong as his genetic counterpart,and alot more confusing in his speech.(A Bizarro Flash,if you will.)
The heroes earned their legendary status by saving the world from threats such as them,and have remained beloved heroes ever since.However,they also remain oblivious to the existance of other universes.They simply believe they are the only ones of their kind.
History:This is a combination of various Flash incarnations,rolled into one.Rookie Police Scientist Barry West is struck by lightning during an investigation concerning a theif who uses water fumes to aid his robberies.Waking up in a hospital,hours later,Barry is stunned to learn his injuries from the blast healed in a matter of two hours,despite having multiple burns and cuts,originally.Even his scars seem to heal with ease.
Within the next week,while trying to pursue a theif who stole the purse of his girlfriend,Tina,Barry flies right past the theif,and ends up stopping fifty five miles away.After finding difficulty finding a phone,or a bus,Barry decides to run again.He ends up circling the entire city within ten seconds.
After spending weeks in denial,and self-testing himself,in secret,Barry finally gave into the revealation that he was,infact,inhumanly fast.Unfortunatley for him,that also meant that his skin was heating,due to the high velocity.
Realising that the department he was working for was corrupt,and that the crime in the city(Blue Valley),Barry decided to use his powers to stop the evil that threatened it.Having contacts from around the city,on the condition that He didn't arrest them,Barry was able to aqquire the nessacary parts to make a special,micro fiber,and near organic suit,that could withstand high velocities,to protect his skin.
Adding a mask,just to protect his identity for a limited amount of time,Barry came up with the name of 'The Flash',and began protecting Blue Valley from various criminals,mafia lords,and super powered criminals,including General Cold,The Jokester,The Ring Master,and even an evil Bizarro clone of himself,Zoom.
Eventually,Barry went public with his identity,and was elected Chief Of Police,due to his acts of heroism.Later,He married Christina Wayne,Richard Wayne's sister,and the two are currently living the life of a happily married couple.Well...as happily as a man who can run at high velocities with a normal,human wife whose husband and brother are two of the most famous superheroes can be.
Barry continues to fight crime as The Flash,though his identity is public,and so far,has been sucessful.Unfortunatley for everyone else,It's also boosted Barry's ego...
Skills: Though he's hotheaded,Barry actually has a keen intellect,right under the Superman(Alexander Kent) and Batman(Richard Wayne) of his world.This is due to being able to consume vast amounts of knowledge at super fast speeds.
Powers (comparative to main DC Universe characters):All of Barry's cells are Supercharged,Allowing him to run at incredible speeds,create lightning,create tornados,vibrate his structure at an incredible rate,pass through solid objects,and even,when fully charged,throw fireballs.So...Um...He bacially has most of the abilites of all previous Flash incarnations(Jay Garrick,Barry Allen,Wally West),except for the ability to time travel.
