Question:

Is there a back story on this and how people got their powers? Or are we making our own?

Most of us have our own personal back stories that are specifc to our characters. I don't think Spartin intended some kind of main back story for the RPG.

Yeh, Triggers right...we just explain...i guess we could have someone just be a mutant or something like that...i know for my dude when he was 16 and was in the explosion he gaind the mental minipulation but when he got the necklace jammed into him he gained the Transmogrification.

Sorry I haven't posted yet. I was on a camping trip. Also, for Roz's look, he's basically a tall, mildly overweight guy with black haitr. Tends to wear black pants, t shirts, and jackets. Anyway, I'll post soon.



Also, Roz is going to be the main character of an idea I have for a TV show. I don't think my ideas will go anywhere any time soon, but hopefully in the future they will.

Sorry i haven't jumped into the Superheroing, I wana build his backstory up first.

But once he has a costume it will basicaly be black spandex with a crimson mask that comes down to a triangle on the neck, crimson gloves that again point into a triangle at the to right above the elbow, and same with the boots right above the knee. His belt has a metalic C with a red jewel in the middle.......whether he will have a cape......I dono, but probobly.

History:
Was abandon as a baby not older than 3 months and was left on the steps of a church. Found by Father Davis and has raised Jason as his own son. On the back of Jason’s neck is a bar code with the numbers 1334 below it. For many years he has been tring to find out what it means and where he is from so far with no luck. One night while walking home he was attacked by the local gang the slingers and was beating near to death. Not wanting to go to jail they dragged him toward the train tracks not far from home and tied him to them. They waited for the train to come kill him which it did. And as he died his soul left him and at the same time the Grim Reaper the one who reaps soul was somehow killed. And was drawn to Jason’s soul, and there soul joined together and Jason’s body was reformed. The gang saw this and were shocked and out of fear attacked and stabbed, beat, and shot Jason and he died again. But that didn’t end it he started to change and his body turned black and he rose from the ground and his cloths became a clock his face became a skull and to large bone looking spikes came out of his shoulder blades and the skin on his hands melted away and became bone. And in his hands appeared a scythe. And from that day Jason was able to turn into the Grim reaper and back again because there souls somehow joined together.

Power(s):Human form-His costume is all black and wears a mask that looks like a skull and caries a scythe blade on his hand but only on the hand with him. The blade later falls off his hand to form a full scythe blade shaft and all for the reaper. Seems to have the power to look into peoples souls.
Reaper form-Wears a glove on his right hand and when taken off when he touches you it will cause you to die. He can hover and can control his scythe from any location. Jason can turn into by his own will or when he is injured heavly. When he changed back into Jason from reaper form he is fully healed.

He was a shy kid and not rough and tough like his peers and was on and off when it came to girls. he never got the hott chicks in school and was had his moments on the football fields. He was really into hiphop culture and like to listen to rap and write his own rhymes as well. Hip hop had become even popular with beings in other dimensions unknown to us on earth. A being from the alt verse was really intrigue by the artform and wanted to learn watching over rappers in our universe he learned they were to agressive and would not cooperate in teaching him. Until he discovered mike who seemed to be freindly. One night while mike was sleeping this being known as King Maoshin
transported him to his palance and asked him to teach him how to rap. Mike said that only people from the hood could do it and the kings could not learn.
King Maoshin then offered to train him in the art of fighting and combat and teach him the secret Maoshin attack which would make him one of the most powerful warriors. Mike then agreed and proceeded to teach the king the art of rapping. The king also took a liking to Mike. After the king was a average rapper. he forgot about his deal with Mike becuase he was so happy about his new rap talent showing it off to all his royal freinds. Queen Maoshin grew angry and told him to keep up his end of the bargain. The king being lazy told his son prince Mei Maoshin to train him. The prince trained him in the secret arts of combat of the royal family. Along with this training MIke gained super strength, invulnerbiltiy and speed. Also he was able to master the Maoshin attack where two great balls of cosmic energy arise from his palm and form into one hitting his opponent. to do the attack one must have their own personalized spell Mike decided to make his a rap. " now that my power is what i Lack let me realse the maoshin attack" and he does the attack. Now that the deal had been completed mike wanted to go back home,butthe king was the only one who could send him back and he was off traveling the land. mike stayed with the queen and prince and help fight off demon invaders of the kingdom with his new found abilities. The god of tienes sent his son who was half mortal to conquer the kingdom mike nor prince Maoshin could defeat him. King maoshin suddenly appeared and was able to match his power ,but he shot a cosmic blast at the prince and killed him. The king was adead lock with the half god so mike did the strongest maoshin he could which barely stunned the half god but it distracted him long enough where the king could kill him. After the half god was destroyed his cosmic energy was floating in the air and some how went into mike and he suddenly became hotverse. and was now as strong as king maoshin. the king depressed abouth is son did not want anymore blood shed so he sent him back to his own world back in NYC.

Mike now back in nYc awakes in his Bed and notices only a weekend has passed its monday morning and MIke starts contemplating whether it was a dream. He tries to use his super strength but it does not work because the laws of physics are diffrent in our dimension.but MIke just writes it off as a dream. weeks pass and mike goes back to normal. Then one night he is attacked by some Latin kings gang members. He suddenly rembers the traning the prince gave him confused, he tries the maoshin attack it sends one off the gangbangers 10 ft back and knocks him uncousious it was much stronger in the alt verse but the laws of physics are different in our world.
still out manned 1-10. Mike raps this"i been given a gift and a curse/ so let me spit a hotverse" he then turn into hotverse and has alot of cosmic powers plus super strenght and invulnerbality and levatation. he also can shoot cosmic energy blast as strong as the Maoshin attack in his regular form. When he does the Maoshin attack as hotverse at maximum power he can level and entire city,but after he does the attack he can not do it again until he return to normal form and back to hotverse. his cosmic powers as hotverse are link to his rapping abilities he can make up a rhyme and the cosmic power can turn it to an attack or defense. example ( this to much I cant deal/give me a shield) a cosmic shield appears around him that he can hold for only 10 minutes. He can only be hotverse for 3 hours if he does the maoshin attack at a 100% force he can only remain hot verse for 15 minutes after that. He occasionaly robs drug dealers for their money and spends it on him and his family and to get his recording career started. He helps out the lil guys in fights, but does not like police officers so he occasionally blows up police cars racially profiling black youth. making him a target for the government. His powers greatly increase in the the altverse in his regular and hotverse form.

Interesting character, but, since the rules of this RPG are the same as the others, I believe you'll have to have at least 25 non-spam posts before being able to sign up.
Or, if I remember right, you can write a small paragraph or two, in character, and the GMs can look it over and make a decision that way.

That's cool, I know we (all of the RPG patrons) are always looking forward to getting new people into the games.

Just write up a few In Character paragraphs, and a GM will make a ruling (that is if you'd rather not try for the 21 or so more posts you need).
