The now NEW Official DC Stupid Questions thread: Didio Headaches - Part 3

All of 52 was awesome. A lot of the smaller heroes in the DCU got to shine, and it was fantastic.

And then we got Countdown. Wasn't that fun?

Booster Gold had a great run during 52 (not the new 52 :p ) and I liked his series that led into the new 52.

Same can be said about Blue Beetle (Jaime). Before New 52, he had a great ongoing. After New 52, they ruined him hard. He was probably my last favorite recent/newest superhero created in recent years.

For Booster and Blue, the late 80s to mid 90s Justice League International is a good place to start. They just reprinted the trades a few years ago, so they shouldn't be hard to find.

I actually just started reading that, good stuff so far. Thanks for the recommendations.

So did Rha's just somehow get some Bruce DNA and cook up Damian Wayne?

And what happened to Tim when Damian became Robin?

Talia's vagina did.

And what happened to Tim when Damian became Robin?

Damian became Robin the same time Bruce got Omega Beam'd and Dick became Batman. Tim became Red Robin and searched the world for clues that would lead him back to Bruce.

Succumbing? To this?

Oh poor Bruce. Having been used in such a way by such a hag of a woman.

Have there been any New 52 stories focusing just on the New Gods (Orion, Highfather, etc.)?

The Darkseid villain's month issue had quite a bit of focus, as did the just concluded Green Lantern crossover God Head. That's all I can think of.

He was made the usual way but taken out of the womb (I think) and artificially accelerated his growth and did other stuff as well. Including hacking his nervous system so they could have Deathstroke try and kill Dick Grayson.

They played chess together once. That's all I know. :p

Do Ra's and the Joker have any history together?
Apart from my own personal headcanon that the chemical glop that Joker fell into was actually the slurry derived from trying to separate the rejuvenative properties of the Lazarus pit juice from its psycho-inducing compounds...

nothing comes to mind.
:sus

They did intersect in the 'Death in the Family' where…I don't remember the details…Ra's orchestrated getting Joker some kind of immunity so he could do something for him overseas. Of course it all led to Joker kidnapping Jason Todd and blowing him up, which Ra's was not down for, which led to Ra's trying to use the Lazarus Pit to bring Jason back. They allude to it in the 'Red Hood' DTV.

They did team up in the demon laughs, a 4 part story released in LoTDK, written by chuck Dixon and drawn by the great Jim Aparo. I recommend this story, it's quite good.

Is there any ONE place Wonder Woman's updated Origin is at yet?

Azzarello's Wonder Woman run? As far as I know, that's the only place it's been shown in full.

EDIT: Well, I did some googling, and it seems as if she was featured in Secret Origins #6, but I haven't read it, so I'm not 100% sure if it recalls the new origin or if it deals with something else.

Thanks TB, it does help I've only seen bits and pieces in different books.

It also was released as a 100 page giant back in 2011 which might be a cheaper option than tracking the individual back issues.

So Rha's could potentially order him to execute order 66? :o

No because Grayson cancelled out that link between Deathstroke and Damian by the end of that story. Besides it wouldn't be addressed in New 52 comic books anyway since Slade's status as Grayson's arch nemesis is no more in that continuity.
