The original point was that no 2 avengers share a common power/tactic. War Machine is not a avenger.

Are we talking about in the comics or in the MCU? While War Machine was not technically an Avenger, Rhodey was as Iron Man II. He was part of the original West Coast Avengers. In one of the Avengers/ West Coast Avengers crossover annuals, both Iron Man and Iron Man II were fighting alongside one another.

Also, War Machine was part of Force Works, which was effectively an Avengers team, alongside Iron Man.

For one, she's a lot more interesting. Also, she's a lot more deadly.

Yeah, Hawkeye has the least amount of screen time of any Avengers. I think Selvig has more than him! Kinda hard to have any traction if you have so little time for development.

Hawkeye is supposed to get more development in AoU. I think a Hawkeye centric one shot would also be a good showcase for him and relatively cheap as he doesn't have superpowers.

Anyone who found the teaser too serious need not worry as Judy Greer (Maggie Lang) confirms Ant-Man will have plenty of comedy.

There was a lot of comedy on set and we did a lot of comedic improv.

I always imagined it to be funny. The MCU has a healthy humour level. The next trailer should show that, and hopefully some personality. Maybe try and attract the regular Rudd fans by having him shrink down, slappin da bees.

I mentioned that as well.

I think the major effects for the action scenes were not ready for the teaser as they said the things they are doing no one has ever done before.

I also think they wanted to put to rest the assumption that it is a parody or more overtly comedic film than Marvel's other moves.
