Yup I read initial reactions and bailed the TDKR section. Bat-world for me until July 20th.

After seeing those up close shots of the costume on display, I went and did some weathering on my gcfx mask to give it a more beaten up/dirty look.

It looks okay, some modifications and weathering will make it look really good. My only complain is that the rear pads and buckle are way oversized. I hope it's just because the model is a tiny kid though.

Pretty excited about shaving my hair as I have had it very short for my entire life but never completely shaved off. Is there a way to be pretty much bald but keep a small outline of your hairline, or does that naturally happen?

What's up guys? Just got the Costumebase Bane wristguard.

It's a generic fit but I think it'll do just the job if you don't have your own sewing machine or want to pay $80 for other alternative outlets.

Here are some pics. It's a little too long toward the hand side so I will be trimming off a little more from where I folded. Enjoy. A good bargain for under $30. I know you can get the materials bought for under $15 but it's all good.

Does anyone have any good reference pics of Bane's alternate jacket? The military looking one with the belt. I'm having trouble mostly on how long it should be. Guessing a little lower than your waistline? Help would be much appreciated.

Actually just found some pics so good on that but has anyone found anything like it? I'm thinking about hitting thrift stores for one similar.

To me it looks like a cerruti military 1881 style jacket just add the belt piece if you have a military surplus store you might check that out

Brand new here but I figured I would sign up and help. Sorry to say you're probably not gonna find something like it in thrift stores. It was a special customized Belstaff Trialmaster with a higher collar and hidden buttons made just for the film. And Belstaff will NOT be releasing a retail copy since their company just changed hands. But ask Dan at Logan's Closet. I know he is making that jacket and the other one. The shearling jacket is gonna be VERY expensive no matter who you buy it from because of the materials involved and how big the jacket actually is.

Thanks man! But I actually found an alternative. It's not 100% but now that I know finding the exact one is damn near impossible it makes me feel a bit better about finding a substitute.

While the material is a bit off (and I need to add a belt) I think it's a suitable substitute. Plus I'm taking the inner collar of since it's detachable. And I can just go pick it up at the mall sometime this week. Plus side is I'll probably wear this for normal stuff too. But tell me what do you guys think? Will it work?
