Hey guys and gals. As a fellow fan of Heath's incredible turn as the Clown Prince of Crime, I have to say I'm beyond impressed by the dedication of everyone here!

I've cosplayed as the two versions of the Joker; Heath's Dark Knight incarnation (done in Halloween of '09) and a combination of the one from the 90's Animated Series and the recent Arkham videogame series by Rocksteady. I've worn both a few times before for Halloween and at conventions. While neither is as perfect as I'd like, I'm still fairly pleased with how they came out considering I pulled both of these costumes together on a shoestring budget.





These highlight my make-up job and part of the costume from '09 (with and without the added liquid latex scars, respectively). The latex held up surprisingly well!

Unfortunately, I didn't get very many pictures of myself in full costume when I tried again in 2011, but here are a few of me in my Mark Hamill costume (even though my hair is still a bit long for this one):









Currently, I'm debating on springing for a much better coat, perhaps one of the professional, custom-made ones. I'm interested in the Jokershirt.com versions, but am unsure of which one to get, as I've heard horror stories of the coats being shipped without the front pockets and other defects. The original $108 one looks like it has a darker, more faithful coloration while the newer $138 version is more faithful in design (especially the lapels) but seems to sacrifice the darker, plum-purple coloration. This could just be a case of the lighting used (it looks very bright) but still I'd be interested in hearing some of your opinions!

Hey there, I've been experimenting for the Joker-look without the scar-prostethics or Rigid Collodion. I only used cheap white, black and red facepaint. This is what I ended up with...

Pretty happy with the result. Im curious about what you think Any tips?

Today I got my kit from utopiabase.com. It's the Joker's shirt, vest and tie. They are pretty ok, but the shirt and vest are a bit too bright.

This is how it looks

The vest should be more dark/olive like. The shirt should also be a bit darker. Do you guys know a way to make them a little more screen accurate? Like washing them with a little bit of black dye?

I don't think people know The Joker only for Ledger but it's true that most of the costumes presented here are from TDK. Here is a picture with a friend that did all kind of Jokers that you can imagine

It's more like Nolan's Joker brought the character back into the public limelight, is a huge favorite, and looks darn awesome. That's why he's the predominant Joker costume. Same with Bane. You won't see many dressing as the Mexican wrestler look Bane of the comics any more.

Morning! First post, Pow!

Here's me about 3 years of so ago. I don't have the straight Jacket I made anymore, but planning to make another one for Comic Con in Perth (Australia) at the end of the month similar to this.

The make up was also a quick job however, knowing some make up artists as of recently, may get it more experienced hands on it hahaha! ^_^

Also, going through the thread, so many awesome Jokers! I enjoy Nolans Joker, though I would like to go Arkham Video game looking Joker one time.
