Hey guys and Batman fans,

I'm new here and sorry for my English, I'm German.
There are not so many Bane maks which you can buy, and the few ones are really expensive.
So I decided to make my own one.
I've made a plan how I will build the mask or of which materials it will consist of.
The mask shouldn't be screen-acurate, but rather godd-looking on pictures and people should say "ahh this is the Bane mask", you know.
All the things I don't mention in the picture are details and maybe they will be add when the base mask is finished.
Maybe you, espeacially the guys who already made a mask themselves, could say something to my plan.

PS: I will see the whole trilogy including the TDKR midnight premier in 4 days and I'm so exited.

Here is my contribution
Mask:GCFX ( looking for 2.0 with accuracy based on the Japan display pics)
Vest:SIQ (new kidney belt 2.0 on the way)
Pants: are Remade (by 585) patterned off of Bane pants.com (added accuracy and comfort and fit)
Coat: 100% made by 585 (wife & I) 72 sq feet of Leather from Tandy
Boots: WWII para-trooper/At the ready (Ankle strap not finished)

* Coat was assembled less than 24hrs of the premier.Button tabs are going to be re-sized,and WEATHERED we had zero time and wasn't worth rushing, IMHO this was Premier ready,Tons of tweeks refitting and 30 pounds needs to go before I call this complete.oh and the buttons were cast and painted by myself due to the Japan pics ( Thank You )

I know everyone will be uploading their premiere photos, but the above is mine (we got kicked out of the shopping centre where my local cinema is not long after this shot, for refusing to take of the mask for security staff, he didn't laugh when I did the voice) I just wanted to thank JBrown for th mask, alot of people owe him a big thanks, his mask's are the icing on the cake for most of our costumes, his attention to detail is unprecedented. Big thanks again, he deserves all the praise he gets.

Saw the Trilogy last night at an AMC Imax. Was the only one to dress up and had people coming up to me and thanking me for it lol. Still would have liked to seen someone as Bats for a showdown pic, oh well. Took some (crappy cell phone) photos before I left for the theater and the mask is modified GCFX mask that I had my friend fix up for me over last weekend. Not bad for the short amount of time he had.

Here's the costume i wore to the midnight screening, for the first half hour because security said I had to take it off or leave cause it was threatening!?! Wtf??? And I was the only one dressed up in my city at Muvico except someone in a full batman suit who showed up of course Right after security gave me the boot.

the battle belt I ordered didn't come in time so I know that's missing, and I didn't wanna pay $50 for all the tattoo cover up I'd need so bear with me on those. Hope you guys like the costume! JBROWN MASK ftw!!!

Sorry to hear CRZombie and PrototypeT24 for being kicked out. Yet after that tragic shooting in Aurora, Colorado I'm thinking costumes will start to be banned in certain areas.

Looks like I was right about costumes being banned. In particular masks:

AMC Theatres
The company said it is reinforcing security procedures with its theater teams. It will not permit guests in costumes that make others uncomfortable, nor will it allow face-covering masks or fake weapons, AMC said in a news release. Though it declined to provide exact details of what it was doing, citing security concerns, the company said it is working with local law enforcement agencies, its landlords and security teams to "ensure we provide the safest environment possible for our guests."

I have made a Bane costume for myself and was wondering if anyone made a Bane mask to head measurements, Im afraid a lot of the masks out there are too big for my head. If anyone knows anyone, please PM me and give me a price... I really appreciate it!!
