In North America I usually have to buy XXL jackets, but XL shirts.

6'1" 250, very broad shoulders.

And the banepants jacket fits me with room to spare.

What colors did u use to get the mask the color it is??

Lol, I don't even remember, they were all liquitex shades of black and grey, some silver, a bronze color for the two circle parts, and I did the highlights on the tubing with a silver paint marker.

On a completely unrelated subject... How's the smell inside that mask? I heard that stuff smells like a car tire lol.

As a last resort I'm thinking my only hope is skycostume bane costume . Anyone got the bask atleast from them? They got a whole costume on amazon so atleast I can buy it with my amazon card.

Hey guys, I asked Todd for some advice a while ago since his mask is by far the best I've seen, but he never got back to me so I'm throwing this out there.

I'm unsatisfied with the latex mask I made and am planninge of making another in the near future. I was wondering if anyone new a good type of urethane to cast it in and how expensive it would be per unit.

I thought about that earlier this summer. It was actually wearing one at the lake about a month after TDKR came out that made me decide that I wanted to make the costume. I think if you could find one that is a mesh texture on the outside you could very easily use that as the undervest.

Just scored the Bane Jacket on bane pants , I've been stalking that website & FINALY got lucky. There's a guy named DME ( other site) who used Carpet padding & military mesh which I figure would be the simplistic way to go & only needs a seamstress . The boots I found online are actually mountain boots & I found a pair that are spot on identical to Banes in the movie.
So much to do so little time.

I think the straps that connect to the buckle are 1.25". I'm basing that off of the clips which look to be from a 1.25" military mini pistol belt. I bought 1.25" webbing and based the measurements for my buckle off of that. I'll go take some pictures of what I've got, so you can see the proportions.

Here's the 1.25" webbing with the buckle I made. I tried casting it with brass powder, but tha didn't work so well for me, so I put some Rub N Buff on it. I still need to weather it.

Hi guys, I am new and am building my first bane costume. I might have made a mistake though. I ordered a coat from angeljackets.com and am worried I might be getting ripped off. I haven't heard anything from them since I was billed and am wondering if I need to contact my C.C company to dispute the charges. Have any of you guys bought from these guys?
