Damn, I hope they haven't. Couldn't imagine this happening.
Wonder what goods will be included.

The special edition DVD is already so packed that quite frankly I'd wonder what they could add to it aside a new interview with Keaton.

You, know a lot has changed since the put together those interviews/special features in 2005. It's highly possible they were put together before Batman Begins even came out. Batman 89's place the Batman legacy has shifted ever so slightly.

It would be silly to want a few new reflections from Burton and Co, but it would still be interesting nevertheless.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this mystery Blu-Ray ever comes to fruition.

I've never seen this version of the image, with the cape drawn over him -

Yeah I've never seen this pic of Batman with the cape draped over, maybe it's the angle too but it looks like it could've been altered because Batman"s head looks weird.

Some info, which is nothing to get excited about, on the B89 25th anniversary two disc Blu-Ray coming out Nov 11th.

There you have it. One more new special feature.

....I'll just wait for someone to upload that onto youtube.

That case looks good, though.

Yeah same here, I'm gonna wait to see if it shows up on youtube.
I already own all 4 films with the logo covers, so I'm gonna pass on this.

One more special feature? - yeah, not interested.

I'm not particularly unhappy with the DVD I got in 2004/5, so I'm gonna pass on this as well.

No new transfer? Ugh. The one new special feature is not enough for a purchase. Pass. I guess I'll just keep watching my copy from the Anthology Blu-ray set.

There could have been an isolated film score, deleted scenes or whatever else, but with just one new special feature, they shouldn't have even bothered.

I've just bought this movie too many damn times. I had to have 3 copies on VHS, cause I wore them all out when I was a kid. Then, I bought a cheap 4pack on DVD way before the Anthology came out. Then of course, the Anthology comes out, so I bought that. And then I bought a PS3, so I had to have the Anthology on Blu Ray.

Basically, yeah. I own it twice on DVD already, so I too will pass on this.

I have the Anthology on bluray. They have better features. No new interview with Keaton.

Hmm... disappointing.

No new transfer, kind of crappy front cover and only one (probably) half-hearted special feature.

I know. A company like WB should be doing better, especially for a 25th Anniversary edition.

Look at Scream Factory for example, they pour their heart and soul into releases in terms of special features etc and most of the covers look fantastic.

^ WB put a lot into the '05 DVD editions, all four of which were fantastic. Other than a new transfer, a new cover and getting a new interview with Keaton (which seems like a big ask), there's not much left to do.

EDIT: Also, Pierce Brosnan had this to say in his Reddit AMA:

Pierce,
You were a great Bond but I always thought you'd make for a great Batman. Were you ever approached for that role?

Yes, I did. I went and met with Tim Burton for the role of Batman. But I just couldn't really take it seriously, any man who wears his underpants outside his pants just cannot be taken seriously. That was my foolish take on it. It was a joke, I thought. But how wrong was I? Don't get me wrong, because I love Batman, and I grew up on Batman. As a kid in Ireland, we used to get our raincoats and tie them round our neck and swing through the bicycle shed...
