I dislike Costner in some of his roles, but in the right ones, he's very likeable. He would make a great Pa Kent. Which is what I think he's being pegged for.
Costner at one point was the biggest star in Hollywood
Wait a minute... people are criticizing him for helping during the Gulf Oil Spill crisis? Seriously?
"Self-serving." Yeah, right. So I guess when you have a genuine solution to a disaster that is killing wildlife and poisoning our waters, you should just say, "Hmmm, I'm going to sit this one out because I'm already famous. Let someone else handle it."
People say the the most arrogant sh** on these boards sometimes.

Costner as Pa Kent would be great. if he plays Perry i guess that'd be okay too but i'd rather see someone else for Perry White.
sweet...so is this confirmation that Costner WILL be playing Pa Kent or are they just saying that Snyder wants him for the role? It's Pa Kent as per Latino Review.

Open range was definitely an underrated western and I actually preferred Costner's Robin Hood to Ridley Scotts version. The latest one just didn't feel like Robin Hood and lacked fun. And Robin Hood shot his arrow about 3 times in the whole film.
