I would love to see what cameron would do with superman. He could handle the action and story stuff well. But thats just a dream pick there.
man i would love to see either of those three would handle superman.
The intelligence of The Terminator
The drama of Titanic
The suspence of Aliens
The action of Avatar
Superman would be epic if Cameron was director.
Now we are getting all the, "Cameron for Superman" quotes. Just like when Terminator 2 was coming out we got the "We want Bay!". When Star Trek was out it was, "We want Abrams." Flavors of the month.

Did you connect Terminator 2 with Bay or am I misreading here?
Ive thought Cameron would be a great director for Supes for a long time.
Jackson.
Abrams.
Howard.
Bay.
I'd be happy with any of these. won't happen tho.
Neil Blomkamp
....with the script written by Ronald D. Moore and either Timm/Dini, Jeph Loeb, or Mark Waid. And before certain people react negatively to my choice of Moore, he has done an amazing job with genre, and I want to take the opposite approach of brining in a Chris Nolan or Bryan Singer have had work grounded in reality prior to there comic book films, and bring in someone who has done there work with genre productions. Battlestar Galactica was amazing, and I don't care what trekkies think, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was Trek's finest hour, along with Ira Steven Behr in fairness, were responsible for that. Moore also wrote some of TNG's best episodes, and while he recieved a writing credit for Generations, he was not that directly involved. The only TNG movie he was directly involved with in a writing capacity was First Contact, which is regarded as the only really good film with that crew. He also wrote and proudced Carnivale, which was awesome, and Roswell, which had it's moments. Anyway, the point is, I think it would be awesome to get Moore on board as a writer/producer. Now, in fairness yet again, he does his best work when he has a good partner/co-producer, like the aforementioned Behr, David Eick, etc. Thats why I would team him with Loeb, Waid, or Timm/Dini.
If only I ruled the world!
