Emma is a fox!! And from what I seen she blows Kristen Dunst out of the water. I hope she doesn't get captured by Lizard like MJ got captured at the end of ALL three Rami spider man movies ( which was really stupid to do particularly in Spider Man 3).

Emma looks stunning in this shot. Can't wait to see it in HD.

A whole thread dedicated to me?! That's so sweet! But my name's not Emma Stone. And those aren't my pictures.

I caught her interview on Letterman last night. My god, she's looked stunning! :hrt:

She was amazing on Jimmy Fallon tonight and luckily, was there in person to witness!

So I just came back from seeing "The Amazing Spiderman" and Wow, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy totally blew me away!!!

I'm sorry and I appologise for any negative comments that I made in regards to Emma Stone's character.

Firstly, Emma as Gwen is very smart, very intelligent and is able to protect and save herself in danger. She is not really your typical superhero's girlfriend or damsel in distress.

I like how Gwen did not ended up getting kidnapped by the lizard and have to wait for spidey to rescue her. That is a very welcome and refreshing change for me.

In contrast, Kirsten Dunst's MJ is pretty much useless and a damsel in distress in all three spidey movies, always screaming, getting kidnapped by the villians and waiting for spidey to rescue her.

I f'n loved Stone in this film.

When we first see her on the table reading, i was like "That's Gwen Stacy"

And her sizzling chemistry with Garfield is undeniable.

While everything else was good, Andrew and Emma were the only perfect things in this film. The rooftop kiss scene was one of the best moments of the film.

Pete: "I've been bitten..."

Gwen: *whispering* "Me too...."

Just....so good.

Emma Stone was nothing short of incredible in this movie. Hell,I think I fell in love with her character just watching the film from my seat! :hrt:

I think in one film, she quickly out shined Dunst from the trilogy.

There was no iconic upside down kiss , but you are not going to top that, but their rooftop moment is great. Plus i love how Gwen wasn't the focus of danger in the film like MJ ALWAYS was.

She had her moment, hitting Lizard with a trophy and helping Spidey at the end. Showing that she is as smart as beautiful.

As much as I love Raimi's trilogy, you are 100% correct. Emma's Gwen put Dunst and her version of MJ to shame. After only 1 film I felt for Gwen and cared about her as a character. Not once did I ever get that from Mary Jane, even after 3 films.

I wont go into spoiler spicifics, but I just want to say how badly i felt for Gwen and heartbroken almost i was at the end of the film.

I like Kristen Dunst. I thought at the time she did what she could do with that MJ role and no hate there at all, she just played it differently than I really would liked. She still had some great scenes and moments in the first two films.

But in one film, i was WITH Gwen the whole time. This film was about Peter Parker, no doubt...but when Gwen was on that screen, you were easily caught up in her role, her life, and her motives as well. It wasn't just "Oh there is the girl...when we going to get to some web-slinging action", no, you were invested.

Yes, that was just laziness on the part of Rami or who ever wrote the script for all three movies. Let's have MJ be a damsel in distress with no redeeming qualities about her at all in the movies yay. Hopefully, whoever play MJ in this franchise will be more like the comics.

The another thing that clued me into how much i enjoyed Emma's portrayal of the character, by the end I was just thinking what IF they did the "Death of Gwen Stacy" on film and I was just already feeling horrible to think of her dying.

While I thought Emma looked amazing (pun intended) in the film, I wasn't overly invested in her character. She did fine in the acting department, but the Peter-Gwen pairing didn't have me rooting for them like Peter-MJ in the old films.

I can't remember the last time we had such a rich, human, love-story in a superhero film. Emma Stone has such a natural, oozy charm, it's like 3-D in its own right. I'm glad Marc Webb directed this, he knows how to direct good romance. That rooftop web sling kiss was SEXY!

Sadly I missed that part :( funny story, I did explain it in a different thread on this forum. I absolutely loved Emma Stone in this! Gawd, I hope she doesn't die too soon. She's just too cute. :)
