female DC Villain in her mid- to late 20s — “a sexy knock-out.”

Well that just leaves...almost every single female DC villain as a possibility. :o

Glad they're keeping a character around who will give Bruce someone to play off besides Alfred, Gordon and occasionally Selina. Now just let him cross paths with Leslie.

part of problem is they already have a large group of regurlars and some they don't even use and they are aiding leslie,Dent, and Lurcious and so far only fish and i assume Falcone aren't coming back.

I really doubt Montoya and Allen will be back. At least in a series regular capacity, anyway. Allen was in no episodes at all airing in 2015, and Montoya was in one.

Also, I can kind of picture them bumping Barbara down to recurring. She appeared only infrequently once she and Jim split up, and I can't see them sticking with her consistently when her lunatic ass should be locked up in Arkham.

They really need to get rid of montoya and allen. They clearly have no ideas for them.Barbara should be reduced to occassional guest appeances if that.

John Doman and Jada Pinkett-Smith are most likely going to be the only regular cast members from Season 1 who aren't part of the show in Season 2.

Gotham, for better or worse (depending on your point of view), is clearly taking the "Soap Opera" route when it comes to its primary ensemble, and I don't see that changing.

Went to Comic-Con here in STL where they had a Robin Lord Taylor Q&A where he said Mr. Freeze and The Mad Hatter will appear in season 2. He even said he really wants the writers to give him the hypnotic umbrella and flying umbrella really badly.

I just started the series. Very different take on Batman but I love it. The pilot started on a high note and ended with a high note. I plan on watching more episodes pretty soon!

By the way, what the heck happened to Montoya and Allen? They completely disappeared before/after the break... I can't even remember.

I was also wondering what Zsasz was doing during the finale. My theory on him is that Cobblepot decided to put his plan in motion after Falcone sent him out of the city on some business.

It's weird that they had them as series regulars, when clearly they didn't have much use for them.

The actors get credited and therefore paid (royalties, etc) even though they vanished after 10 episodes or so. Not a smart business decision.

It's a damn shame because the show would've been better if they stayed on (and dropped that unnecessary love angle).

Surprised that's the cover image they're going with. I figured they would use the cast photo or the Gotham skyline poster as the cover. I wasn't overly impressed with the character posters. To hype up the series, I think they should've gone with something a bit more Batman specific. Like Bruce kneeling next to his parents' bodies, like this panel from Year One...

‘Gotham’ Casts James Frain As Regular, Will Play New Villain & Tigress’ Brother
by Nellie Andreeva

EXCLUSIVE: With Fish Mooney out of the picture (at least for now), Gotham will be introducing a new formidable villainous duo in Season 2: Theo Galavan and his sister, Tabitha, who will go on to become DC Comics super-villain Tigress. James Frain (The Tudors, True Blood) has been cast in one of the two new regular roles on the Fox series. He will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan. A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for — he is sexy, heroic, and lovingly devoted to his sister Tabitha (yet to be cast). But behind Galavan’s altruism is a centuries-old vendetta. Galavan and Tabitha (aka Tigress) will take chaos and violence to a new level in order to bleed Gotham. Their plan will lead to the creation of new villains… and the destruction of others.

Frain is currently recurring on the second season of HBO’s True Detective and has been recurring on BBC America’s Orphan Black. His feature credits include TRON: Legacy and Water for Elephants. Frain is repped by Untitled Entertainment and APA.
There's a guy who knows how to play a villain.
