I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Mr. Freeze, he's been one of my favourite villains since BTAS.

Jessica Lucas Cast as Tigress

On the DC Comics-based drama, Tabitha is the lead enforcer for her brother Theo, a billionaire industrialist hell-bent on taking over Gotham (and to be played by go-to bad guy James Frain). Described as sexy and violent — and toting a bullwhip! — she’s the opposite of her cold and calculating brother, deriving a sensual pleasure from the mayhem she’s tasked with making.

I really hope we get some decent backstory for these two. I thought it was weird how much they dropped the ball in that regard with Fish. I mean, they really gave us next to nothing. They had her tell a nice little story about her mom and had her appear at the end, and then didn't follow up at all. No details on her history with Harvey. Not a first meeting of her and Oswald, or her history with Falcone. Any of that would've been more interesting than what they gave her to do all season, which mostly served as a distraction from better storylines, IMO.

Kind of goes for a lot of the cast, tbh. They mentioned Jim's father being the DA in Gotham in the premiere and in the finale, and his relationship with Falcone, but gave us virtually nothing else during the season, like flashbacks of Jim's youth in the city. No stuff shining a light on Jim's being a soldier, either. In a TV Guide interview, the actor playing Crispus Allen said he used to be partners with Bullock a while before Gordon came into the picture, but nothing was said of that in the show.

I really hope they shine a light on the backstories of these characters in season 2, especially since Bullock's flashback episode was one of the better episodes in the first season to me.

The latest interview with David Mazouz seems to indicate that Bruce is going to start developing his "playboy" persona. I'd imagine some Beiber like antics and dating a lot of different girls. This will probably make Selena jealous. Should be fun to watch. On the flip side I'd like to see him set up a workout space in the cave. (if his dad doesn't have one there already) He needs to start lifting and building the physical part of his character too. And yeah David the actor needs to start thinking about that also.

.@PeterCrapp We go pretty dark pretty quick in Season Two.

I really hope they fix a lot of the problems I had with season 1.

Given that one of my biggest problems with last season won't be a regular character anymore (or even around at all), I'm hopeful. I just hope they find a significantly better way of integrating the big threats this season. I guess we'll see what they say at SDCC.

If I were outlining the season I'd concentrate on Bruce and his training, have him build a workout space in the cave for gymnastics, lifting etc and start to work on building a supercomputer. Later on in the season have him installing security measures around the estate. Maybe taking on tutors for training that Alfred can't give him like meditation, lockpicking, escape artistry,acrobatics/parkour etc. Show him building his criminology library and forensics lab etc. Not all at once and certainly not at the level it will eventually be but small spaces set aside for those areas of study.
For Gordon his rise through the ranks of the GCPD is a no brainer. I expect a promotion for him early in the season. Lead investigator or something like that. Dent and he should start more of their takedown of the corrupt elements of the GCPD and politicians.
Bruce also needs to start helping Gordon solve cases ..albeit anonymously. He could start slipping out of the house and doing some detective work of his own. Then leave clues for Gordon. Maybe even give him a burner phone that's untraceable. Let's make Bruce more like Encyclopedia Brown for right now and get him involved.

I hope we find out how many episodes are in this season at Comic-Con. I haven't missed any news on that, have I?

FOX needs to pick a number and stick with it. It's unfair to the writers/producers to have it increase or decrease halfway through production.

they should have something like 18 episodes a season.

Curious to see what season 2 brings to the table.

Is there Michael Lark art from Gotham Central in the shattered glass on that bag?

I'm liking the hair and the slightly more grotesque/ominous appearance.

I'm just glad the hair looks slightly less emo/punk than it did for most of last season.

and that's my biggest problem with Bruce being so young in this show.

I want to see all of what you mention, but that seems better suited for a slightly older Bruce.

especially the physical training aspect.

though, I supposed it would drive home the total dedication and determination of the character to show him training his body at such a young age.
