Rumor is that Ivy Pepper is the adopted name or nickname of Pamela Isely. I don't see the issue. Let's see what her past entails, then judge.

For me, I'm not interested in seeing it in the first place. The adventures of Lil Gotham, no thanks lol.

Copperhead is here!

I'm ok with this. No idea if it's faithful to the comics, but in the Arkham games, it seemed that Copperhead was a name carried by several individuals, who were part of a crime organization. So if she's just one, in a long line of Copperheads, no issues here.

A couple of interesting interviews:

From Cannon about last week's scene with Barbara & Montoya:

"It was the idea of however much Barbara tried to win Jim back, her failure to do so jettisoned her back into her past — a past where she basically was out of control, and numb to the pains, where she’d blocked out whatever turned her into that animal. Now she has opened those floodgates again and reverted back to…"

To what? Lesbianism? And when did she lose Jim? Since he couldn't tell her about the Falcone/Cobblebot problem which would (and did) put her life in jeopardy?

Whatever darkness she has within her the only thing we've seen is that she drinks and smokes weed. She seems a bit schizophrenic to me, but this plotline is the only thing I don't like about this series.

From the interview with executive producer John Stephens:

“Gotham” wasn't originally ordered with 22 episodes. And before the show debuted, creator Bruno Heller and executive producer Danny Cannon told TheWrap they would have preferred even fewer than the original 16 episode count. But the network's vote of confidence is not all bad — aside from forcing the cast and crew to cancel their spring vacations.

“Rather than stretching out material, it actually allowed us to come out with new storylines and place them inside the order, that we probably would have pushed to Season 2,” Stephens explained."

Well, that does sound like they were at least caught unawares. Stuffing and stretching an extended series is fraught with peril.

It seems to me getting from point A to point B should have a specific arc, and I wonder if some damage to the series may be done getting to the spring finale.

I'm still very hopeful, and can't wait for tonight. :yay:

lol; man, by the time Bruce grows up to be Batman, it's gong to be surprising to think that all of the villains that survive the tenure of this show will hate Batman much more more than Gordon given on how Gordon will have plenty of years to make enemies with Gotham's biggest villains.

Pretty sure I saw snake print on her pants, if that counts.

They also hammered slithering type music into out heads when she was on screen.

Solid enough mid-season finale, I think Gordon working at Arkham in the second half of the season has potential. So the theory is the assassin chick is Copperhead?

That's not the way I'd put it at all, but considering the general hyperbole in these parts, I'm not surprised...

With Gordon at Arkham, there are a ton of new angles they could introduce.

-This will probably be how we meet Dr. Crane Sr., possibly developing his fear gas for the government.

- A Hugo Strange appearance

-The Great White Shark

-And, of course, the ultimate guest star: Mark Hamill as the Red Hood, imprisoned in Arkham since his first, legendary crime scene, and now just waiting for the right time to get out!

Alfred is badass...

oh man Mark Hamill as the Red Hood, that'd be insanely amazing

So I've seen all the episodes except the first 3. I have one big problem.

How the hell can Gordon, a ****ing cop in Gotham, afford a Penthouse apartment?

It's Barbara's penthouse...they mentioned it a few times already.

Ok that makes more sense but brings up another question. Why does she leave her penthouse apartment to Gordon?

They lived there together, then she took off. She's not gonna just kick him out of the place after she's the one that runs off.

It will never happen. For starters Mark Hamill is way to old to play the character. Mark Hamill is 63 even if you could make him look around 50 he would still be way to old to play the Joker in this time line. It's great idea if he where 20 maybe 30 years younger.
