they had better have plenty of onscreen Hulk in the film, and talking...

I certainly hope so, it makes me sad to see such a great hero get the shaft.

Thanks Gamma....I used to post some on Hulkspace.com back in the day if there are any old board members here.

I don't think a day goes by where I don't wish Hulkspace was back. Good to see you Bust and Uber....

Oh, that is nice. They basically got a hybrid of early Hulk and current day Hulk going.

I see a bit more of Ruffalow in the face as promised..... but at a glance very close to what we got in TIH...

this thing is gonna rock

He looks like a mix of both the movie hulks, it's good but I prefer TIH's longer hair.

Let's hope the cg in Avengers cocerning Hulk is at least on par with ILM's 2003 Hulk. TIH, who's Hulk design i like for the most part, had scenes of Hulk that were very poorly rendered.

Who's doing the FX..?

I'm not going to get too used to this hulk as it is just art and not a fully rendered model, TIH's art looked quite different to the finished product.

I love it. It's very Kirby-esque.

ILM's Hulk was...or er...simply grew too big. They went an odd route, making him get bigger as he got madder to visullay manifest the strength upgrade.

That isn't and never was how it worked in the comics, now sure different artists made him bigger, but that was just an interpretation.

I always felt ILM's Hulk started out awsome and just got too big, had they simply made his muscles get bigger, made him become more and more vascular people would have been able to identify that as strength.... something TIH didn't necessarily do, but they rendered him well enought IMO.

too big - his head was like 6 feet tall in that sequence

Not as big, much thicker then Destroyer though

I think if he would have had longer hair i would have loved it but the short hair for me is a no no.

Mark Ruffalo's Banner at least in the artist depiction of him bears a striking resemblance to Bill Bixby (the tv series Bruce Banner) While The Hulk looks more like the early jack kirby comics.

Still I liked The Incredible Hulk's look better. He looked more heroic and a sense of humanity that the 2003 version didn't have .

My dad will love this. Ever since the first Hulk movie, he's always wanted the design of the Hulk to be menacing and ugly. He certainly got his wish. So did I! It looks excellent!

Really hope the hair is longer over the forehead in the finished product. Have to admit, not in love with this photo.
