You and me both.
If they axed him, then he would be in the same position as Ed Norton, and Marvel probably wouldn't want him anywhere near any Hulk property.

Defenders??
Agreed. Hulk should be left to big budget movies for now. Getting his look right is seriously expensive (at the moment) and we shouldn't be compromising on that.T"Challa;21682475 said:hmm..can a Hulk TV show garner good enough ratings to merit the CGI budget its going to need? I hope not. "Hulked out Loki" sounds like a terrible idea.
I was hoping Hiddleston was joking, but he said that Loki has to adapt to each Avenger he fights. Loki on steroids is just a bad idea.
Thor, Superman, etc. can be shown to excel in many things, since they have many powers.
The Hulk can only be shown excelling in one power, since he only has one power: Strength.
True, I just hate when they don't show other super strong heroes doing super strong stuff just because Hulk is around.
Agreed 100% here.
That's one reason why I loved seeing Thor in the pilot episode of A:EMH and his amazing feat of strength with the island of Manhattan. That was awesome!
The cartoon got it right: In the same episode, Graviton held every member of the Avengers down against the ground (including the Hulk). He then said something like, "I control the power of the universe itself!"
The Hulk, getting angry, slowly gets up. Graviton, looking puzzled, increases the power and sends the Hulk face first into the ground. The Hulk, even angrier and more determined, slowly rises. Graviton, now incensed, lets power of cascading force pummel the Hulk. The Hulk, now pissed, rises up and stands in defiance. The very next thing Graviton says (after just saying, "I control the power of the universe itself!") is: "Nothing can be that powerful!"
~ * I would love to see a scene similar to that in the Avengers film!! * ~
It's interesting to note that one of the reports that details about the footage shown at NYCC mentions on how BW tells Banner that SHIELD has been quietly protecting Banner and the Hulk from any other parties that may have taken interest in acquiring him and that Fury may even trust Banner.
Agreed 100% here.

Its been some time since I watched Season 1, but didn't Graviton say something more like "I am the strongest there is!"

As much as I want to see Hulk's strength emphasized, which the Graviton examples majestically do....if Marvel wants to sell Hulk the character to the GA........something akin to the "puppy" scene in The Iron Man, Spiderman, Hulk team up short would masterfully do the trick.....where a raging Hulk can go out of his way to protect a harmless, innocent, and defenseless bystander.
