Seriously though, it's one small line designed to grab people's attention, if anything the movie will be Iron man this and Iron man that since that is Marvel's most successful movie franchise.

That's the point, if they were going to do it with anyone it would've been Iron Man and since it didn't work with him they won't do it with any character, just have it equalled out between the main four.

That's what I'm hoping for and believe is what we'll get, each hero having their time in the limelight.

I want Hulk, standing there with the group actually conversing.
That is what I want for the character to finally happen.
It is the one thing they F'd up in both movies. He is not a silent brute. Or one who only barely babbles a few words. At his worst he talks in sentences like a 6yr old and neither film even did that.

Yeah I think of them as equals and I think Thor fans wouldn't be so upset about it if they were shown as being fairly equal in recent media instead of Hulk usually pummeling Thor into oblivion.

That topic is getting a bit tired though, I'd rather talk about the two working together than fighting each other.

I wouldn't worry about that since everyone who's been officially involved with the film have said that this is a ensemble film and that NO ONE character will get the bigger spotlight, along with the fact that the threats presented in this film will be TOO BIG for any one Avenger to handle alone.

Basically I would look at this as LOTR with Marvel heroes. Each character got time in the spotlight for the most part. I don't expect Widow and Hawkeye to have like massive plotlines since they're just there as the eyes and ears of Fury, but Whedon can make it work.
