Maybe, but the same dramatic effect could occur with just a generic "big dog" walking out of a crowd of bad guys, like the Uber-Immortal from 300 or Boagrius from Troy, except more extreme and more CGI'd, to challenge the Hulk. It would be just a shame to waste a cool character like Ronan or Gladiator of the Shi'Ar on what will be essentially just a "henchman" role vis a vis Loki.

It's no biggie but I'd like the hair a little longer like the previous design.

Same here. I liked how wild and savage the hair was in 2008...plus it would cover up more of the forehead (which is a good thing).
But the 60-second spot absolutely dominated and I'm still gasping for breath.

just for comparison's sake, here is the 2003 hulk. I admit given its time, I'm impressed with Hulk for most of this movie, many shots far better than the one below.

You still can't sleep on what ILM did back in '03. They made him look a little too...I gotta say handsome to be honest, but he looked pretty real when he was just being still or looking at something.

I agree, CG is the best route for Thing, if they wanted the cheaper route though they just have to use an actor in prosthetics and increase his size.

The studio has said that they want a CGI Thing this time around for the FF4 reboot. The Thing suit was cool, but Grimm was way too small. The guy Trank who directed Chronicle is lined up to direct the rebooted series. I hope he gets the job.

I can't believe you just said that!!! Hulk beat the living Hell out of Galdiator when they fouhgt. Galdiator was loosing so bad he tryed to grab hulk and fly him into space to sufficate him and when he did that Hulk Thunder Claped his Head. :ROFL:

Quit bringing up physics in a comic film. The movie is supposed to be fun , not realistic, if you want physics go to College.

He looked damn good in movement as well. The composting and rendering was a lot better than most of the CGI shots of Hulk in TIH.

Ha....................it is a great issue...hulk played dirty, very mean, and cruel....he almost killed him ....Hulk annual 1997...yup.

Yeah, I forgot that Gladiator has the confidence weakness. So basically Stark could launch a devastating quip to bruise Gladiator's self esteem, and then Hulk could clean his clock. That's Avengers teamwork.

Despite Gladiator's powerset he's a chump. hell Eric Masterson Thor beat his ass silly back when he was still a rookie and having doubts about his ability to hang as an Avenger.

Holy **** that looks awesome! I never knew the Hulk could look so great in live-action!
