Yeah, I read in an interview that there were only a few times that it wasn't ruffalo in the mo-cap suit. but 95 percent of it (completely arbitrary number btw) is supposed to be MR.

I agree, I feel like he is actually computing, reasoning. To me, it feels like he is not only "something" but "someone" if that makes sense.

Possibly...there was an interview with stuntman Troy Brenna that led me to believe he did most of the body work.

At first glance, he really does look like an actor in makeup and prosthetics, which is probably the best compliment your CG can get.
