See, here's the thing: Bendis didn't actually retcon much. The Hulk had *already* killed people, and tried to kill people, years beforehand. While Bendis did alter the *quantity* of people actually killed ( which I agree, was a bad idea ), he didn't make a qualitative change.

Regardless, whatever changes Bendis made pale in offensiveness besides the changes Pak made, where apparently the Hulk has magic infinite precognition that allows him to destroy entire cities in ways subconsciously calculated to never even endanger an innocent. Which beyond the sheer idiocy of the concept, retroactively makes the Hulk look even *worse*, since apparently he killed Soul Man 100% intentionally.

Now, what relevance does that have for the movie? Not a whole lot. His portrayal in the movie, so far, has been a non-malevolent monster who might be growing a little more intelligent and rational. Combine this with a world that isn't quite so sadistically bent on making Banner transform non-stop at the worst possible times, and you can avoid the whole "Should we kill the Hulk for the sake of protecting the world" issue.

That shot is almost as good as him jumping to catch Iron Man just for the sure sight of him kicking someone's butt like it was nothing. Also, you can really see Ruffalo's face in that shot.

Kind of feel that this shot takes place shortly before he actually catches Iron Man, due to Hulk being up so high on a building.

With what we've seen so far, it's hard to look back and think that Abomination was beating the crap out of Hulk in TIH, nevermind holding his own. If there was ever any doubt in my mind about Whedons Hulk, it has undoubtedly been replaced with awe. I'd say what we've seen in the these trailers is better than anything shown in the previous Hulk movies... Except the tank-toss, that's still my number one Hulk moment (so far)

It looks like the same blast from the cube-powered weapons in Cap. So I assume some human disintegration will be occurring. And of course Hulk can shrug it off like it's nothing...cause he's Hulk!!!
