I'd love to see a serious take on The Leader, hopefully one that's perhaps darker than the Tim Blake Nelson version.

Yeah, Tim Blake Nelson was too let's say eccentric for my tastes, who knows, he may of been a great, dark Leader but that wasn't the impression I got.

I wonder what the design of the Hulk would've looked like if Norton had stayed. Would they have used the TIH design, or would they have somehow tried to make him look like Norton?

I'm getting a really good vibe about this Hulk, everything seen so far has been awesome, I really hope he can get the GA interested enough in him again to warrant another Hulk film.

as do I

and for the most part I liked TIm Blake Nelson - he showed inklings of just how dangerous his mind was

all those batches of cloned Banner blood

I think he could have made a very interesting dagerous Leader

certainly wouldn't have been boreing

The more I listent o the idwa of making Hulk a character witha lot of talking and screetime, the more I think we... please, listen first... we need an actor and CGI effects to make him look inhumanly big. I haven't seen a Hulk that can convey what an actor can.

I know I know, Gollum. But still.

Agreed. As good as CGI has become nowadays, it still can't reproduce the subtleness an actor can provide.

I hope so too.

Hopefully this movie will at the very least reconfirm THE HULK's A-list status with the GA.

True. The reception he's been getting so far is outstanding, and that's from a few bits of footage. In his full glory, I think it will be mindblowing.

Yeah, I think Hulk will be THE show stealer in this movie. I have a feeling this will be the comic book movie with the best action scenes, most of them coming from Hulk. :D

Didn't we hear from the first screening that Hulk and Hawkeye both stole the film? 'Cause I'm loving the sound of that.

I find that possibility... disheartening, actually. Everyone should have stand out moments in combat, not just the Hulk.

sorry, a bit off topic but where is that footage from in your avatar of him hulking out from behind? I don't think iv'e seen it yet.

Weaklings like Hawkeye and Black Widow are not going to stand out when a Big Green Force of Nature is in the same film.

Yeah people have been saying "so & so is going to steal the show" from day one and that just doesn't sit right with me.

I honestly don't want anyone to "steal the show", that's what their solo films was for (yes, even Thor).

Ok, so thought I'd do a summary of new Hulk related things from the newest 2 tv spots:
-Hulk smashing through a high storey window
-Hulk leaping midair with an alien in hand
-Hulk smashing into the side of a building then proceeding to backhand an alien in the face
-Lots of Hulk roars, seemingly made it deeper now, slightly more visceral
-Another shot of Hulk midair, looks asif this shot leads on from the window smash
-Part of the Hulk/Banner transformation

A couple I'm not sure about are when you seeing Banner and Cap on the Hellicarrier looking down as it rises I think you can hear the word 'Hulk' in the Hulks voice. The second one I'm not sure about is a shot of the seemingly the same corridor Hulk chases widow you can see a large shadow swinging down from above in an ape-like movement, could've been Hulk but it was too quick for me to make a 100% decision.

Stealing the show because the creators designed them to steal the show and stealing the show because the Audience just ends up gravitating to wards that character are two different things.

I'm sure every one will get there time to shine but some people will just be drawn to certain characters. Hawkeye will most like steal the show because people are going to go into the movie underestimating him. Then when they see what he accomplishes it will most like blower there minds.

Kind of like seeing Batman take down a villain with skill that Superman took down with brute force. People will look at Batman and go wow he put a whooping on a monster that completely out classed him.

Character like Hawkeye and Batman are the Underdogs and everyone loves and underdog.

Yeah that's true, but you can't really say a character "steals the show" without slighting the other characters whether it was intentional or not.

Am I the onlyone who is is very disappointed the Hulk looks waaaayyyyyy too cartoonish in the trailers? He looks like a grayer Banna Hulk. I really like the Edward Norton Hulk. Now it seems they've taken a step back :( .

Ehh the Norton Hulk looked like crap imo. Looked like he was made out of plastic, his skin was too thin and he'd been on diet pills.

Hulk looks pretty awesome in this film in my opinion, I do prefer the look of Norton's Hulk but there's no denying that this Hulk acts more like the Hulk we know and love.

I'm wondering if they have Hulk refer to his team mates by nicknames like the comics, with someone like Whedon on script duties it could potentially be great :D
