Yes hopefully this whole hulk thing works out

Let us Hope and Pray

It just has to. They got the perfect Steven Rogers, Tony Stark and Thor. Now in Ruffalo they found the perfect Banner. It would be a shame if he doesn't get his own Movie.

It seems Marvel saw that Hulk had a fairly average movie run, so they probably thought "Let's let Hulk go out with a bang, pull out all the stops and then retire him for a little while."

I don't think any of them expected such an uproar...Hulk is certainly the fan favourite in this movie.

The only thing I wonder is how they would go about the next movie. Like if he would be fighting military or a super villain, I think it would have to be a lot different than the last two movies for it to be successful

They should just scrap the tormented soul angle and have Banner try to turn the Hulk into a hero. Kinda like the Avengers cartoon, steering him toward doing good. Maybe throw in heavy SHIELD involvement, as they try to keep the military off Hulk's back, while he maybe goes after the Leader. Something like that.

That angle had to be done in the past, but they've clearly moved past it. Avengers shows us a Banner who has finally accepted the Hulk as a part of him, however unwillingly, and continues with trying to keep it suppressed. I'd like a constant supporting character introduced, ala Rick Jones...I think it would be a great addition because for the majority of the past two films, Banner/Hulk had no one to play off of. Avengers gave us that with Tony's buddy relationship with Banner, but it'd be nice to see that mix in a sequel, rather than the Betty/Ross formula.

Adding someone like Rick Jones is a good idea. He could be someone that Hulk recognizes as a friendly face and he could be one of the few people trying to talk sense to him. Maybe he could be like Banner's travel buddy.

Exactly what I had in mind. Banner/Hulk needs a fresh face to play off of. As long as they don't make him an irritating kid, all is well with me.

I want hulk the be fighting loads of Tech based enemies to smash like Androids, robots, Souped up Hi-tech military graded weapons. Give him lost of things to do. He need lots of Canon fodder that doesn't have to have alot of back story that can be easily destroy and deposed of. On top of all that He needs a main or primary Villain that can challenge him in the strength department.

The story can't just be about Hulk Smashing something There has to be something that need to be don't that strength alone can't solve. That where the challenges that the Leader creates comes in. They guy in the back ground pulling the strings running circles around the Hulk.

Exactly. They HAVE to utilize the Banner/Hulk relationship. Leader in himself would be a great villain....brawn vs. brains, with Hulk having to accept/allow for Banner's intelligence to help him defeat the leader.

I don't know if I'd want tons of robots to smash. If the leader is involved, maybe we could get some Gamma Monsters. Heck, or have the Wrecking Crew introduced.

Problem is Grundy has never been a popular character like Hulk....so DC revamped and created Doomsday (basically savage Hulk)...I honestly believe that Supes vs. Doomsday was DC guys way of doing a true Hulk vs Supes battle.

I think it would be great if Hulk shows up in IM3 personally...after seeing the relationship between stark and banner. Seems the new Hulk as a fan favorite might work to Marvel's advantage to have him bounce around to different franchises...hell Hulk with Cap would make a great team as well really. Then, full on Hulk in the next Avengers of course. For some reason, in the movieverse I like him on a team better than by himself.

I wouldn't count on it, as much as I would like to see it. Feige has said that this is a Tony Stark movie only, and he will be without the ability to call for help or aid. But i definitely want to see more of the Stark/Banner interplay in the future.

It's official! They're going to make a Hulk film starring Mark Ruffalo :)

Agreed. They've covered that side of it in the first two films. Time now to go the hero route.

A new flick should basically feature Hulk, Rick Jones, Doc Samson, Betty and Samuel Sterns. Sterns has plans for some type of conquest/ultimate goal, Banner is compelled to stop him because of their history which is alluded to, while the Hulk in a sense, doesn't really care and is kind of neutral until Leader makes it personal or something.

Well, the tune might be changing as we get closer to The Avengers’ opening. A recent interview with Forbes (via ThePlaylist) saw Marvel’s President of Consumer Products for North America (talk about a specific title), Paul Gitter, reveal that a forthcoming, Guillermo del Toro-produced TV series could be “supported by a big budget franchise movie in 2015.”

Best I could find.

I just love with what Ruffalo brought to the character, his debut couldn't be any more better so hopefully he still wants to play the part when they're going to make a new solo Hulk movie.

Apparently Ruffalo also has a 6 picture deal with MS.

Now that it seems like we might be starting up a new Hulk franchise in 2015 do you guys think his appearance will change much since technology just keeps improving. I can't imagine an even more realistic looking Hulk.
