For Betty, I'd like someone new. Most importantly the actress should have great chemistry with Ruffalo.

I'd also like an actress that's a little more mature ala Ashley Judd.

Did anyone catch the Bixby reference at the end where they were all gong their seperate ways....or am i reading into it too much? Banner had on a yellow shirt, brown pants and a Bixby like leather bag similar to the tv show!

It would have also been cool to see Banner hitch-hiking at the end.:woot:

That definitely made me think of the TV series.

When I initially heard that Ruffalo was cast, I just couldn't see him as Hulk. Having watched the Avengers film the other day, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Ruffalo's Hulk was one of the best and most enjoyable performances of the film! From his early interactions with Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow to umm.. practically everything else he did throughout the film, Ruffalo's Hulk was on-point as hell!

When I saw him in those glasses, wearing that purple shirt and interacting with Stark, he was absolutely a spitting image of Banner to me...

No one looks closer to comic book Banner than Edward Norton in terms of "looks", not even Bill Bixby.

I've seen the movie 3 times and still want to see it again, for two reasons, to see The Hulk sucker punch Thor and beat the snot out of Loki again lol, every time I think of those two moments I just spontaneously bust out laughing lol, it was Awesome!:D:up:

Yeah that was just too Awesome:woot:

When it comes to Bruce Banner's look from the comics I'll agree Norton is the best But I still think there's been some comic Bruce's that look close to Ruffalo(except thinner)!

And I think Avengers Hulk is the closest to any comic looks so far,Yeah the face is Ruffalo But body/height/type of green&hair just screams comic Hulk!

The great thing about this Hulk is that even though he doesn't speak, he just has bags and bags of personality. He's a real character. His facial expressions are great. Like when he's trying to lift Mjolnir. When he confronts Loki and stops. When he punches Thor. Awesome.

I just noticed he actually has a ton of hair on his chest!

All the Hulk parts were incredible..but my fav is probably his fight with Thor; best fight of the movie.

Meh too many cut aways, I prefer the Thor vs IM fight which was longer, larger in scale, and much more blows were thrown.

Just came back from seeing this again...noticed in the end credits Sal Buscema was credit as an artist...guessing the Hulk design was heavily influenced by Buscema and Kirby

It must have been my movie theater (and the fact that i sat ALL THE WAY up front, so had to look straight up the entire time) but the IM vs Thor fight was way too dark to make any real heads or tails of alot of it.

Yeah it was either you or the place you were sitting, because I saw everything in the IM/Thor fight quite easily.

I really dug how they handled the initial transformation. I felt the addition of Ferrigno's voice and the close up cuts of the clothes ripping was a great nod to the TV series.

Was it really Ferrigno's voice though? It sounded more like Ruffalo to be honest. It was only one line too, so would they have bothered with Lou? Maybe he initially thought he was going to voice Hulk but they didn't bother in the end.

I would've liked to have seen a hitchiking scene instead of Banner driving off with Stark. Maybe he could've been walking down a highway by himself and then later picked up by Stark, or maybe he could've started walking off from the reunion scene by himself and Stark stopped him and told him to get in.

Is it my understanding that Banner is invulnerable i.e the bullet in the mouth, the plane fall at the end of TIH..?

I've always assumed that Banner could be killed....

Banner isn't, but Hulk definitely is, Golgo.

Ruffalo did the mo cap, but Ferrigno did the yelling, groaning, and grunting..

Ruffalow OWNED this roll. seriously give the guy a ton of credit, he was funny he was beleivable,

and OMG every moment the Hulk was on screen, I was on the edge of my seat

Best thing was when he cheap shoted Thor just for the hell of it

well really the best thing was him RAGDOLLING Loki like nothing

Best portrayal of the Hulk ever

plus him and Stark being on the same level as far as inteligence goes.... and both being a bit jaded against Sheild

that was classic stuff

The Hulk won't let him die, so in a way I guess you could say yes.:D

It was in a way (more blows from character to character). But there's some highlights in his fight with hulk like when he uppercuts hulk with the hammer that was fantastic and when he leaps and knees hulk in the face. Oh and when Hulk throws a huge piece of metal at thor and he dodges it .

What did Hulk actually say after

tossing Loki around like a ragdoll? Some people say "Demi God" while others say "Puny God". I couldn't hear over the laughter in the theater.
