Does Banner show his brilliance in Avengers?
I disagree for the most part...We have gotten 2 movies now that dealt with Banner more than Hulk, and honestly I really am tired of Banner's self loathing; and I think the BO numbers prove the GA doesn't want to keep seeing that as well. Unleash the Hulk, in all his glory and give Bruce Banner (Ruffalo please) something to do as a scientist to solve a problem and I think the movie will be awesome! I dare say it worked in Avengers brilliantly!
Excellent. I caught the Harlem reference also but it's always nice to get someone like Fiege confirming that TIH isnt the bastard child of the MCU [as some would have us beleive].
Even as I'm typing this, I'm taken back to some of the dumber posts claiming that MR's casting was pure evidence that they'd flushed TIH down the toilet and rebooted the character (hell, one guy even tried to make the case that Marvel had to explain why Banner now looked different!!!)
^yes that would be awesome who knows what would happen the outcome would be an abomination
Banner is a Skull I tellsya!!!! SKULL!!!!!!!!!!![]()
t:
Who got plastic surgery in order to avoid General Ross (!). Seriously, that was the guys idea for explaining why Banner didnt look like Norton anymore.![]()
I think the best analogy used at the time was that in the comics, different artists can do the art chores on the very same story arc, drawing characters and environments differently. That made so much sense to me as there really isnt that much difference here.
Past movie precedents in ongoing series exist as well: Roger Moore never looked like Sean Connery, didn't need an explanation for Bond's change in appearance.
Likewise Val Kilmer looks nothing like Micheal Keaton.
Anyone dense enough that they can't accept a role in an ongoing series being re-cast without some daft explanation isn't worth wasting time on.
Another thing apart fromthe Harlem quip was that they used footage from TIH as well: The holographic files Tony opens has some of the Campus fight scene on display.
This doesn't really prove anything, butI've been meaning to ask this question for a while now The Destroyer from Thor has it's disintegrator beam which is said to be able to annihilate anything and everything. Do you think it would kill hulk if he was directly hit by it?
