But what we did see was completely epic and totally satisfying

I don't think Thor vs Hulk is overrated But I'll agree IM/Thor was overall better!!

I mean people boost it up just because it's Thor and Hulk fighting, but IM/Thor was far away the better fight in every shape or form.

But what we did see was completely epic and totally satisfying

Yeah it's not a bad fight in the least, I was totally satisfied but it would've been much better in an open area.

Good conversations. Whedon must have done something good to get comic fans debating like this. :)
Can we all agree that the Hulk should have had 2, 3 or 5 times the number of lines in the movie?

For example...
After he catches Iron Man...something like "Thor say metal man need help...so...HULK HELP!

Not a chatty Kathy, but definitely more lines.
I agree. There were several scenes where the Hulk could have said something but remained mute.
I do think that is the way to go. The Hulk need to talk and have complex lines. For god sakes if Guillermo del Toro where in charge of a Hulk movie, he would have the Hulk speaking just like all the rest of his monster creations. I just can't understand why people don't think the Hulk can speak or communicate with people in complex ways.[/IMG]
Blame the TV show. That's where it all comes from.

The mute Hulk appears to work when the Hulk is immersed in the middle of a group of other interesting characters. He can be eye candy that way. But if he's going to work in a solo film they will have to make him a real character. There won't be a Tony Stark around to make things interesting.
So does Stark at some point in the argument, also shaking his head the same way Banner did before; to me, both gestures read clearly as "Woah, what's this in my head...?"

That was a clear sign, to me, that they were being influenced by Loki, also the camera angle on Thor's "You people are you pety...and tiny!", is was a like "dazed and confused" effect, thus making it clear that non of'em were witha clear head at the moment.

Polux
I gotta watch for that when I see it again. Something was definitely going on with the staff by the way Banner picked it up without even knowing it.

And about twenty minutes longer. :p I could watch it all day

Admittedly, I was hoping for Hulk to have more lines, especially considering Banner was in control of the second transformation.

And most of all without those pesky cut aways, I was like "**** those shield agents I wanna see Hulk vs Thor" dammit. :argh:

Speaking of this, can anyone tell me what his line was after his, ahem, "encounter" with Loki in the tower? My audience was laughing too hard, I was too, to hear what he said.

He said[BLACKOUT]"Puny God"[/BLACKOUT]

Hulk flat lining that leviathan with one punch was one of the most badass things I've ever seen. :wow:

These guys knew that they couldn't waste a single moment when Hulk was on screen and damn did they make that happen...

I loved the part when he jumped on the jet.

"TARGET ANGRY, TARGET ANGRY!"

And when he caught the pilot ejecting? The whole cinema gasped. Also when the jet exploded and you see him falling off into the distance roaring the audience was in hysterics. And i'm from the UK, you need to understand our cinemas are usually deathly quiet.

The 3D worked really well there too in my cinema.

*Boom* ROARRRRRRRRRRRR.....*fades out*

I loved the movie Hulk owned just owned and it always suprises me seeing how much like little kids like Hulk.

My favorite part of the Hulk on the jet was when he caught the pilot as soon as he ejected/shook him then threw him away and you hear silence until the pilot's parachute opens up!

He's big and strong, kids don't give a **** about leadership skills, family issues, or being a genius they wanna be big and strong.

He could just has easly be a villian. (at times he kinda has)
But I really like how the other characters acted around Banner there attitude towards him.

HULK!!!! Truly amazing. Truly. ****ing fantastic. Phenomenal.

INCREDIBLE

Loved the shot of Thor wiping the blood from his nose and smiling, like he was thinking "Finally, an opponent worthy to take on the God of Thunder!"

Yeah, that was great! :word:

I liked how we were all speculating what Hulk was seeing during that still before the flick. And most of us were right.

I like that Hawkeye didn't take Hulk down with tranq arrows.

The only possible complaint i could think of, was a little more hulk screen time and even a little more Banner too. Green eyes before transforming wouldn't hurt either, but obviously what we got IMO is flawless can't wait to see it again tomorrow.
