This trilogy still holds such a huge place in my heart, and I still think Spider-Man 2 (2004) is the greatest Marvel film ever made and on my top 3 Superhero films of all time. The MCU has not made a single film that could even compare to Spider-Man 2, in my opinion, and the first 2 raimi films in general are so unique and original. This trilogy didn't need to follow a specific formula, or tone. It had Raimis hand prints all over it while still staying faithful to the comics and the character overall. From the cast, to the story, to the score, and everything else, Raimi nailed this character more than any director has so far, and I'm sure some people won't agree with me, but it's true. The first 2 Spider-Man films are the best film representation of the character from the comics, and even Spider-Man 3, while flawed, was still a fun movie. People trashed it so much at the time, but it's still much better than some other films since then.
I just want to say Thank you to Sam Raimi to bringing this character to life the way he was meant to be, and I'll forever be grateful.
