Look what I found at a local thrift store for $2.99...by Tripp, NYC.
It's a little darker than I expected, but for the price, and the hexagon pattern, I couldn't pass it up. t:
Something told me to go there and look around. I had the same feeling when I found my long purple coat (by Millenia) for $10, at a different thrift store 2 weeks ago (I have to change the buttons, plus have it dry-cleaned and pressed) It's a dark purple, and not very heavy (weight), as I live in S. Florida.
I also found a pair of dark navy pin-stripped pants ($4.00) I'm gonna have to dye purple...maybe. I haven't decided yet, as I don't want to spend $60 or more on a pair of pants I'll only wear a few times, LOL.
So far I've spent $17 on my costume; and still looking for a green vest or a decent one I can dye. Plus the gloves.
Also bought my Rigid Collodian by Mehron today ($4.99)

These are from walmart they were work gloves they were yellow and had a adjustable strap but i'm going to be addin' on that is leather with a snap.

yes it is real hair but I'm at 65 on it and the reserve still has not been met so it's at least $150 if not more

They are not hot at all actually quite comfy also. I bought a type of leather paint called angelus. It's a acrylic paint that bonds into the leather so it doesn't crack or anythin' of that nature.

Deck features custom designed versions of the Batman Begins Evidence card and the Brian "Will the real batman please stand up" card. The rest are high resolution scans from the real "viral" deck (the rare, sought after full deck used for promoting the movie).

Well... I ATTEMPTED a male Harley Quinn... Attempted being the opportune word. And since I generally do Joker a lot, this is why I'm posting in this thread.

Here I am before heading out to my friend's Halloween party last night:

Here's my complete costume, taken last weekend (Oct. 22, 2011) at a local comic book store "Halloween Sale"
My hair is a mess B/C it was so windy, and my makeup ran a bit, cause it was so bloody hot...vest unbuttoned too.

The jacket was off most of the time B/C of the heat as well.

Overall, my costume was a big hit...had about 20 people ask for photo ops!

Not 100% accurate...total cost including makeup was just under $30...everything came from local thrift stores.
The long purple coat was only $10

Could not find purple pin-stripped pants though, and my shoes are my regular work/dress shoes.


I will try to get another pic tonight for Halloween, with better makeup and my knife

Hey, I decided to give my Joker costume another go around this year at a Halloween party. This is pretty deep into the night as you can see by my disheveled make-up and drunken appearance. Needless to say, it was loads of fun!
