Friday night I saw E news by Seacrest that the Bond folks are hoping to get Holmes on their franchise if she wants it. Jessica Simpson,Alba and Johansson are lobbying for the roles but no word from Camp Holmes.
Near the end they had a poll if there was a Batman and James Bond smackdown who would win? Batman 68% James Bond 53%
Aren't those 53% voters ******ed?
I sure hope Holmes wont do James Bond because I would be gross out to see her do steamy scenes with old geeser Daniel Craig.

Entertainment news said the issue of Vanity Fair with Holmes on the cover and baby Suri photographed by world famous Anne Lebovitz is the most anticipated ever, no Tom Cruise on the cover just Kate and her baby because TC wants all the attention on Katie and her career comeback. Its her time to shine so maybe it will make TDK official on her part if she mentions it. Its coming this fall.
Im not a stranger to Holmes hotness. She has always raised my temperature ever since. Awesome pics.

Here's a little tidbit of news. I was watching E!'s The Soup when the guy was ripping on Tom and Katie. HOWEVER, he said that Katie's been on a strict workout regimen since the birth of Suri. But not to get in shape for her wedding, but to be in shape for the Batman Begins sequel. This was followed by more ripping of Katie Holmes.

But could this be true? I swear I'm not making this up, by the way.

Yeah, she wasn't as bad as people say she is. They just say that stuff because of her personal life.

I believe you guys and that's Mr.Soup guy's job and that is to rip everyone else. He rarely says anything nice although I enjoy the other former Soup guy better the one that looks like Bryan Singer.LOL!
People Magazine said too that Katie's reps wont say anything about her wedding date but that she's all about work. Katie is only accepting mature roles and even looking into some action roles. Some ABC radio news and Clint from Moviehole reported back months that she was going to be in an NYPD cop movie playing a rookie cop opposite a Hoffman. (Dustin or favorite to play the Penguin aka Phillip Seymour Hoffman) so I hope Katie wont turn down Batman because to me Batman fits in the mature role category. As for Bond, if I were Katie she should take a break playing the girlfriend role for sometime. I dont think Agent Ethan Hunt will like the idea of his fiancee showing lots of skin and doing the nasty with 007.
I can also see Bale telling Daniel Craig "sorry James Bond Batman is the badass".

Although, it did get pretty direct with Bruce scolding Alfred about letting her into the cave.

But, other than that.....it wasn't really a sequel. It was more like a new episode, or book. I actually think that's how Tim Burton described it.

Irrelevant, this franchise is a complete reboot, it's all fair game in which characters they can use imo.

The plus side to that horrendous film is they didn't use Selina.

Seriously though, I'll be ticked if there's no Selina. Asides from Two-Face and Joker, she's the next villain I wanna see be re-introduced. And as hot as Michelle was, she didn't really have that sexy body imo. This is our chance.

I'm sure he's read TLH, DV, and maybe the other follow-up by Loeb/Sale; 'When In Rome'. Those are great starting points, I really miss good interaction between the hero and heroine.

Still haven't seen a single good one from a comic book movie ever since BR. Keaton and Pheiffer made a f'n awesome couple. Chemistry was off the charts.

Even if Rachel stays in the franchise I dont see how that hinder Selina not appearing. If anything she wont appear if Nolan doesnt want to put a femme fatale character in or if the studio feels after the problems with Batman Returns and Catwoman it's not worth it and she'll be a distraction to the focus of Batman ( not my words, but you know directors and studios can give reasons like that)

If they do cast her I'd like to see Rosario Dawson get the role and if where streching here maybe Grechten Mol (Notorious Bettie Page) possibly Taylor Cole or Barbara Mori.
I dont think Angelina Jolie is gonna do Catwoman even if the studio offered it to her (which they wont...). Same with Charlize Theron even those 2 are the favourites for a lotta people (I wanted Theron for Catwoman for a long time but I dont think she's intrested either)

Hey, if Rachel stays and they still add Selina, then great. I just wanna see her at some point in this franchise.

As for casting, Jolie would've been so perfect man. I would've settled for Theron as well. But it really does seem Nolan is having a joyride casting complete off-beat choices for these roles. So even if there was an obvious actor for a certain part, he'd prolly go the other way regardless.

I think that's a good thing. If he casts someone that we dont expect (a la Bryce Dallas Howard for Gwen Stacy) some people might complain but then you know that she's gonna get in shape and look hotter than ever and that's interesting in it's self

Bryce wasn't surprising to me, actually. I always knew that she had a very pretty face, so her playing Gwen wasn't a shock.

I just hope that if Nolan ever casts Selina, he doesn't cast some fugly chick that just happens to act Catwoman well. Because while personality changes, being ugly is f'n permanent.

Well, Nolan is excellent in choosing the actors for roles, so I have no worries.

KH can easily turn me on and I can understand why Nolan and Co.made her less of a babe and more of a lady and true heroine or she might have been too distracting. My gf even said that Rachel is so relatable to many women and she's a positive influence to many; even my little niece Bea loves this character than the other superhero chicks.
This is where Nolan gets his job done and how KH pulled it off so well too especially lending her girl next door Holmes landmark. KH as Rachel is the anti-Catwoman and the anti-embodiment of Pam Anderson and the models Wayne dates. She also fits the vision of a different Batman these guys have in mind. Sure Selina and Bruce have the same dark tendencies but then opposites do attract too because Rachel is the one that keeps Bruce grounded and without her we wouldn't have Batman at all. She is even unselfish enough to give him fully to Gotham and not keep him to herself.

With Rachel many also realized that Batman is a good guy and has a lot of heart because in the past he's come off unlikable and more of an a-hole.
Less heroic in the eyes of many too. Too much character assasination of the Batman character in the past,cartoons and even on the comics.
BB changed all that.
That said I really want KH back as Rachel not just a female decor or part of the lame predictable Joker body bags but real purpose behind her presence. Catwoman and the other Batgals are just good to screw or for bachelors to date but Rachel Dawes is all about class. She's someone you love to marry. Too bad its rare to find a Rachel Dawes nowadays in RL and even on Hollywood(TV and movies).
