Michael Fassbender.

Was great in Pormotheus and X-men.

He is like BBQ sauce, works well with pretty much everything.

Edit: And I DO mean everything.

And for the 1 billionth time, someone nominates Fassbender for a role. I think every other page on this thread has his name on it...

guess we can thank snyder for discovering fassbender since he was a nobody before he was cast in 300

Fassbender's role in 300 wasn't any more substantial than other roles he'd had up to that point, so I'd say if anyone deserves credit for "discovering" him and showing the world that this was a great actor, it would be Steve McQueen, who gave him his first really meaty lead role 2 years later in Hunger.

Well... 300 is the first movie I remember him for, to be honest!

hunger got him recognized as top tier acting talent but 300 is what got him noticed in the united states IMHO

but i'd give mcqueen more credit for letting fassbender stretch his acting wings tho but snyder more responsible for getting his face out there

anyways side note cavill and fassbender were both in blood creek lol

Jeff Goldblum! Make it happen Hollywood. :o

I'm still a GPS, though.

So many possibilites. Law, fassbender, mortensen, phoenix. As long as he is that kinda quality, i'll be onboard.

I actually want Viggo for Metallo or Parasite.

Guy Pearce! I'm still holding out for the one True Lex too. Frkn Marvel!

I think he would be great too.

Actually casting for Lex is a lot more fun that for Superman, as everyone is going to be much less forgiving if Superman does no seem perfect.

There is more room with Lex.

I'm still thinking some Auditions given to off choice actors is a good idea.

For all we know Shia Labeouf gets an Audition and comes off scary as all hell for example. - unless he only can act in one kind of character.

Just an off example, but the point is Lex needs to come across as VERY socially dominant, imposing AND charasmatic.

He does not need to be ugly or old or even have very specific facial features.

Dominant, imposing, charasmatic.

I'm up for Guy Pierce in the role. I watched him in the Prometheus promo playing the young Weyland, and thought he was awesome. Then I watched Lockout and thought he was awful. Then I watched Lawless, and thought he was awesome again.

Lawless in particular shows you how can he play a fairly intelligent, polished and well spoken individual ................. who is nonetheless totally slimey and unlikeable.

Guy Pearce in Lockout (Space Jail) is the best performance of the year.

Not sure that I would go as far to say it was the best performance of the year, but I LOVED 'Lockout'. I would definitely not be opposed to Guy Pearce as Lex.

Yes. That viral video speech was indeed, outstanding.

problem with pierce is he is that obvious villain kind of like matthew goode in watchmen

he doesn't have that likability that i want for lex

thought his American accent was just fine in cowboys and aliens but a British accent would be great for lex it would give him that upper class debonair personality
