Putting a bat signal and some text on a photo doesn't really count as a manip or art. Try something better and see what happens.

People need to learn how to take criticism, especially with simple ideas like adding the Bat Symbol to a picture of a hallway.

There's not much creative about it, "Welcome to the House of Bane"; pretty straightforward and nothing gripping about it.

It looks well put together but, as a concept itself it isn't very interesting.

People need to look up the "Batman Begins Sequel Fan-Art and Manip Thread" and look at the original replies I got on my manips back then. Those were in a "nasty" league of their own. People's criticism is incredibly diluted and politically-correct now.

Not being a *****e. As has been discussed on this board multiple times, people do these for fun and to share with others. It is not a contest.

This took me 10 minutes. I am a freelance Graphic Designer with multiple clients and I do little things like these for fun and relaxation. I really enjoy seeing what other people come up with and how they go about executing certain design elements.

In the case of my most recent manip, it was an idea for a teaser poster I had while working on a different project. Just wanted to see it conceptualized. Constructive criticism is great and in my line of work I have gotten used to it after many years. But to say it doesn't count as a Manip or Art is not constructive criticism.

And yes, that photo has been manipulated...therefore it is a manip. Which is why I posted it into the "Fanart and Manips" Thread.

Posting a quickie is no big deal, but you don't need to be snappy when someone gives you a comment you don't like...

this place is not as friendly as i remember it. for the record i didnt like insides poster.. it doesn't look like it took very long to do, and it's not all that creative.. if you wanna have another ego trip be my guest, it dosn't bother me any. just saying you can't expect just becuase your put some work in to an manip, and your proud of it, means everybody else has to be.. i've made tons of joker manips in the day and some i was really proud of and never got commented on.. i post art to share with the world, not to collect comments.. my two cents, take it for what you will. most of you guys prob wont rememebr me tho i havent posted in quite some time..

Are you sure you understand the meaning of the word "hyperbole"? And yeah I just meant to say that we don't really get the most original names in terms of the Batman movies... think about it "Batman Returns", "Batman Forever", "Batman Begins", "The Dark Knight Rises" - "Batman Continues" would have been pretty much the same thing. A title like "Gotham" would have been awesome - at least the the two "Arkham" games, "Batman", "Batman and Robin" and "The Dark Knight" have good titles.

Which is why I posted those old comments. I was trying to show the difference between brash (those ones) and constructive (what I responded that made the artist go on an ego trip).

Both are a LOT better than "Continues." I remember people even saying a Trilogy could be called "Begins, Continues and Ends".
