Hera, Queen of the Gods, does not take her vengeance lightly – and if Wonder Woman is so foolish as to stand in the way of her whim, then Wonder Woman is her enemy. But it’s Hera’s daughter Diana should truly fear – the goddess of discord is coming to Paradise Island, and murder always follows in her wake!
You mean red Fifth
Wonder Woman is meant to have red boots but for some confuzzling reason they have turned her boots blue

They've turned them ****ing black.
They need to turn them something that isn't that.

Loving the God of War/Clash of the Titans vibe.

Okay, now I'm just confused. In that #2 cover, she's back to the black tights, but the metal parts of her costume are once again gold instead of silver. Make up your freaking minds, DC!
On the plus side, the solicit for #2 sounds like a decent story.

Hera sounds much less kind than she was in the old dc comic books![]()
Maybe, but I'm digging that they're making Hera into a crazy old woman consumed with petty vengeance. I bet she's going after the Amazons because one of them looked at her husband 2 seconds too long.
You know, like in Greek mythology. Zeus had to put his extra women in the Mistress Protection Program to stop Hera from slaughtering them. His illegitimate kids, too.
All of the Olympians were d-bags. The Greeks had an incredibly flawed pantheon, which is probably why they make for such interesting fictional characters.
Yeah. In the actual myth, didn't Herc's mom bang Zues while he was in the form of a Bull or something?
