Okay, now I'm just confused. In that #2 cover, she's back to the black tights, but the metal parts of her costume are once again gold instead of silver. Make up your freaking minds, DC!

On the plus side, the solicit for #2 sounds like a decent story.

There was one thing the failed TV pilot got right that not one comic artist seems willing to do: make the white parts of Diana's boots gold to match the rest of her costume.

Somehow I dont fully trust DC when it comes to putting WW back in "shorts" since she is in pants in every DC promotional item and still in pants in her #2 cover. Though the gold looks way better.

Maybe, but I'm digging that they're making Hera into a crazy old woman consumed with petty vengeance. I bet she's going after the Amazons because one of them looked at her husband 2 seconds too long.

No, Zeus was disguised as Alcmene's husband/fiance/boyfriend. I can't remember which mistress he banged while disguised as an animal. I do know that he impregnated Perseus' mom by giving her a golden shower.

Well, this is certainly...far more confusing than it should be. The shorts cover on the promo page was said to be the official cover, or at least, that's what I understand from what they said afterward. I don't know how else to interpret 'We have now revealed the official cover for the issue.' But in the second issue, still pants, but now the silver has turned back to gold. I mean, really? Surely it can't be as simple as DC just hasn't really decided on the look at this point with only two months away from the launch. ****, I don't know, maybe there's damn two of them.

I will say, though, looking at it I think this cover looks a lot more finished than either the original pants or shorts cover for number 1. That one just looked too rough, and this looks like what I would expect from Chiang. But, Lord, just let the shorts be on the costume, if for no other reason but to get rid of some of those goddamn seams.
