I would say Katie Holmes is hotter, but what makes a character is their acting ability hands down. Given you don't want them looking awful, but Maggie is cute enough, looks similar enough, and being she is a lot better actor, I'm so happy about the change. Holmes just didn't fit with all these excellent actors surrounding her, she was totally out of place.
