So, any suggestions as to how Rachel should bite the big one in this film or another one? I am not saying that she does--just hoping.

A giant penthouse with a batcave underneath falls on top of her and then she commits suicide not finding satisfaction with the cosmetic surgery done to restore her to the way she was before the accident.

im here to rescue you batman fanatic :)

Lol :yay:

Isn't that where everything starts though? With a fad of some sort? Hair coloring included.

No, I don't think so, and that's pretty much been my argument. It has never been "a fad" in my entire lifetime to have red hair. I have it that way because I feel very strongly it expressed who I am, and I love the look of it. The fad has always been blonde hair. So if I were going to be influenced by the prevailing fashion, and so lacking in self-esteem and so driven by the opinions of others thats what I would have done. Instead, it's a personal choice based on my own aesthetics.

That and certain tenets of beauty have never changed. It's never good to have a giant nose or an overbite for instance, so people who have surgery to correct those sorts of things aren't going off a fad, they're going off established "facts" if you will.

I'm going to say the way she should die is

1.) Joker pushes her from the building
2.) Batman moves heaven and Earth to save her but
3.) Batman discovers a day later that when Joker touched her he transmitted a deadly dose of toxin which can be absorbed by the skin, and she dies anyway.

:woot:

Yes, I'm horrible.

We're complex creatures by nature aren't we? I tend to usually go for attractive, slim brunettes who tend to usually (but not always) have lighter eyes.

A couple years back, however, I found myself really attracted to this somewhat overweight redhead (not a natural one mind you) and it surprised me a little. She had a really angelic face and her complexion was fair, so the red hair definitely suited her. Her body wasn't well proportioned and she was a little on the heavy side, but I overlooked that. Wonder what she's up to these days? But yeah, people are strange. We have these self made codes and rules we live by and then someone or something comes a long that forces us to think twice about those ideals we so carefully set into motion.

Yes, people are definitely strange in a good way, in that we can always surprise ourselves and never completely understand our natures as much as we think we do.

Now you've got me thinking all introspectively about the many ways in which I have surprised myself over the years and done something or turned out to like something or completely changed my opinion on something I would have never predicted a few years ago.

Well thats what makes life interesting, we can't plot it out no matter how perfectly we try to plan our future. :cwink:

You know what they say.. what ever doesnt kill you, simply makes you...stranger..! :hoboj:

Everyone I know who plans to see the movie is upset that Katie Holmes was replaced with someone less good looking.

Just sayin'.

Wow, the Rachel Dawes spin-off will suffer greatly then.:cwink:

When you overshadow talent in lieu of hotness for Bats' love interest, you get this.

Oh god, here we go again.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is a good lookin gal. Besides, WTF do her looks have to do with anything??! She is a great actress and will be an excellent Rachel Dawes.

........Post it again.

Haha, I agree with you, though.

Maggie is a way better choice. I don't have to see the movie to tell you that.

Katie Holmes can't act her way out of a paper bag. And she talks out of the side of her mouth. The only reason why anyone probably liked her in Batman Begins is because her nipples were poking out through 85% of the movie.

Were they? I may have to go back to the DVD. Never mind, I see.

.....can't really complain about that^

has anyone seen secretary? maggie is sooooo hot in that!! katie holmes has nice eyes thats about it i reckon and yea maggies deffinatly a better actress!

I'm just going by what I've been told.

I think Katie Holmes has softer facial features, personally.

I don't think her acting was THAT bad...her only line she really sounded bad was "Yeah you better run."

What do her looks have to do with anything? Well she IS the main female figure of this movie, as well as the center of a semi love triangle between 2 of Gotham's prominent young men who just so happen to look like they stepped out of GQ.

Just saying.

She has sex with the joker. Batman kills her himself.

Are everybody you know 14 years old?

Just askin'.

Feelings, not lust.

I like her acting style more than Mrs. Alien-Tom Cruse-lover, but I DO think she looks like she's had a slight stroke. Something about her nose/smile lines turn me off.

Fanboys want the object of Bats' affection to be a girl that's way out of their own league, that's what I'm hearing. Granted, I'm not too sure how willing Mags would be to hook up with any sweaty internet geeks personally, but hey.
