Highly unlikely. Actors' contracts get released, bought out, or canceled all the time. It is actually commonplace. Recasts also happen all the time for a variety of reasons. Canning the entire X-Men casts due to change of ownership is not grounds for a lawsuit. The new owner has every right to review and cancel projects as they see fit. Actors get released to pursue other projects.

Yeah, movies get cancelled and remade all the time and there is no precedent for a law suit because of Actors not being used due to having a contract. Otherwise you would have heard about Adrianne Palicki suing Warner Brothers over her not being used in Wonder Woman instead of Gal Godot. That guy makes it sound like he knows what he is talking about, but he is really just spreading a bunch of BS.

No. Storm is a Dark Skin woman just because FOX has her played by Light Skin actresses doesn't mean Feige will make that mistake.


And it's better for the actress to not have to be harassed online like Shipp was because she's half white.

Cyclops is supposed to be 6' 3" so its not too far off, Logan is supposed to be about 5' 3" so they would still get the 1 foot height difference with someone like Scott Caan.

He's also 31 which is kinda old for movie 1 of a contract. Most Avengers that aren't cgi (iron Man hulk etc) were like mid 20 when casted I think (cap, widow, cap marvel). I'd prefer someone who was 26-28 for MCU X-MEN #1.

Yeah, the hairs on my arms went up about the same time that Peter's did. Not even CW's trailer made me feel like that!

Yeah, I don't even know who this guy is but I figured there would be at least a couple who would come in and try to suck the joy out of any IW discussion and call people who liked it fanboys (or zombies in this case).

I guess the key is not make this into defending what's clearly a great Trailer and simply IGNORE the negativity.

As for the Trailers relevance to this topic....(Sigh)..... As EPIC as I felt it was, just imagine how great it would've been if it had the F4 and Silver Surfer!

It just shows how great Marvel is at improvising despite not having key characters from comics. And it kinda forces me to resent Fox even more.

LSD gave Feige his first job on that silly movie with Meg Ryan that I refuse to remember. She brought him on board for the first X-Men. Feige wouldn't be where he's now, if it wasn't for LSD. I do think they are on very friendly terms. I doubt he'd show her the door

31 is not unusual for the MCU if you look at the ages of a lot of the MCU actors at the time when their first MCU films were released, Chris Pratt was 35 , Chris Evans was 30, Chris Hemsworth 28, RDJ 43, Mark Ruffalo 42, Paul Rudd 46.

well, Bryan Singer is a ticking time bomb. Every day now his casting couch practices will come up again and this time it will finally blow up. I guess Disney would want to distance himself from him at all costs. So I can't see him playing any role in MS X-Men movies.
