I think Deadpool will remain (Ryan Reynolds already trying to cozy up, lol), but I see the slate being wiped clean otherwise.

Which is fine, that makes sense, that character breaks the fourth wall anyway.

I think a good middle ground is reboot the main X team

but let the r rated spin off stuff a la new mutants live under the fox banner unconnected the the MCU, I don't need a gambit film in the MCU lol

Yeah, no point wishing it to do badly. Hope it works out well for all the people involved and is still an enjoyable X-film.

How many years you think before it's ok to get another crack at Apocalypse?

Maybe 3rd main team film? Just make sure he looks good this time and noone will recognise him anyway. Just such a shame Oscar Isaac was wasted in the role.

hm, i think it will be at least a decade before anoyone touches apocalypse again. but that's an interesting choice.

His helmet still looks good. It works in scenes when he is battling hard like in Winter Solider and Civil War.

I think movie producers have lucked out that the newer combat helmets do not cover the user and hide his unique shape making identification easier than in the recent past when soldiers and SWAT lost their helmets for star/actor identity

My vote for 1st MCU X-Men villain also goes to Sinister. It would instantly show us a different X-Men than we're used to, and Sinister being an expert in genetics can also help explain mutations within the MCU. Save Magneto for film 2. Along with Genosha!

It has a fair amount of problems, getting the look of Apocalypse totally wrong being a major (unforgivable) one. There are things I like in it though.

Btw guys, even though its too late to include any of these characters in Infinity War, you can BET your bottom dollar we're gonna get an epic post credits scene in A4 teasing someone. My money is it'll be a Doctor Doom centric teaser. Doom will be in his chair in his castle having surveyed the events of Infinity War and cackling about how this is all going according to plan, effectively putting into motion the big bad of the next several phases of films.
