40s definitely seems right for Reed.
he looks like he's 12 years oldJoseph Gordon-Levitt
No matter how much genius you bring we are not talking about sports or the arts it is going to take you until your mid 30s minimum to build up a backstory that Dr. Richards is supposed to obtained. Just as Tony Stark was near retirement age for a soldier when he started avenging.

I'm not disputing Garfield's acting ability. I'm saying he looks young. Obviously not young enough to be a teenager, as he never did. But he looks still young like a guy in his 20s. He still has a boyish face. And that's not what I want for Reed. I want Reed to have a more mature face just like Jon Hamm would've had in his 30s or William Shatner or many others.
LOL. Just reading through the thread, it is VERY clear that virtually ALL of us are assuming this is a done deal. It's hard not to get excited. Personally, I think everything is wrapped up and they are just getting odds and ends out of the way before announcing.
Mods/Admins,
Can we have a champagne popping smiley for Willie? Please?
I have been wishing for the F4 to be involved to some extent in Avengers 4 for a long time, and even though I was ridiculed for posting the last Comic Convention countdown, I did not loose hope... It seems more likely now than ever!
Other than the 4, I hope they take a slow burn approach on the X-Men.
No big event right off the bat.
And for crying out loud no freaking Wolverine for at least 2 movies.
Let Cyke and Ororo and the rest shine without the smelly runt for once.

Wolverine is too popular to not appear for 2 films. But that said, I would not use him in movie 1 and introduce him in movie 2.

Marvel has made D and F list characters into a success. They don't need to rely on Mr Popilarity to hold up an X-Men film.
I'd rather they had a Wolverine-less X-Men movie and then they do a separate Alpha Flight movie where Wolverine can debut.
Or have Wolverine show up in a completely different, non-X-Men film to battle the Incredible Hulk, just like he first did in the comics.
At least for that to be a formal Hulk film.
We would have to fix the Universal situation firstAt least for that to be a formal Hulk film.
I wanna know how long that contract goes for!!!![]()

All they'd probably have to do would be to put "Wolverine" in the title. Not sure they can use "Green Rage Monster".
Not exactly on thread, but did they explain why Hulk didn't turn into Banner more often in Ragnarok?
Let's say hypothetical Universal is interested in IPs like the Predator or Alien Franchise. Now, Universal has no real use for the distribution rights of Hulk other than keep Disney from making those Hulk movies. But since they have interest in Alien or Predator, Disney can bargain. Universal would get the rights to those IPs (which Disney, being Disney has probably no real use) for which they can develop whole new movies in exchange for distribution rights of the Hulk.Someone was saying in one of these threads yesterday to use other IPs to force Universal to give up the Hulk. I don't remember who it was. But I didn't understand it at the time. How do those other IPs affect Universal and their hold on the Hulk?
