Which markets? Is China one of them?

If they want to see the FF and X-Men in the MCU as soon as possible, they'll hurry it up.

Communists don't care about X-Men or FF. But they'll care about cold had $ :)

The real celebration will begin when Kevin Feige is actually able to open up about having permission to utilize these characters

I can’t wait for the official press release stating that the x-men, F4 and Deadpool will all enter the MCU, with Reynolds staying and everything else getting rebooted

There are going to be a whole lot of steps to look forward to/wait impatiently for.

First we've got the vote tomorrow, then the closing some time after that. Then we'll be waiting for any official announcements and/or references and appearances in other films.

Then when an FF film (the big one for me) or X-Men film is announced we can look forward to learning the director. Then we can look forward to learning the cast. Then we can look forward to concept art, the first set photos etc. Then the first trailer and subsequent trailers. Then the reviews, and then we can finally plop our seats in the theater and actually see it.:woot:

I've had a lot of waiting and anticipation over the past 30 years, but nearly all of that has ended badly. Now I have something I can really get excited about. :woo:

Can't wait to hear Feige personally confirm that he will simply take Reynolds' Deadpool and all his supporting characters and just drop them into the MCU!

"Careful worldbuilding is overrated." - Kevin Feige

:sly:

I think Reynolds and at least the actor for Colossus both deserve to stay as they are in the MCU

they’ll figure it out, I don’t doubt it

Deadpool is basically the only character than can be dropped headfirst into any continuity and it'll be fine.

Yeah, unless Colossus fits whatever plans Marvel has for the mutants (and it seems unlikely he would) I have a feeling they'll bring Deadpool as is, but loose and/or redo any side characters.

I was looking forward to seeing the FF or the Surfer in the Avengers 4 post credit scene. But Reynolds' Wade Wilson applying to fill the spot left open by a dead Avenger would be pretty great as well.

Can't wait to hear the announcement that all the Deadpool actors have been fired except for Reynolds, then!

"**** you, got mine." - Ryan Reynolds

Because Disney just lost $71 billion in an unknown combination of cash and stock, they must want to lose another >$180 million dollars to meet some fanboy demand that can't be explained to shareholders .
Logical!

Lost? They're making a valuable purchase that is going to return all that money and then some.
They're not playing craps in Vegas.

Anyone who thinks Ryan Reynolds Deadpool is getting dropped is insane. That's simply not happening. X-Force probably isn't gonna happen now though.

Please keep Zazie as Domino too though

All of the developments so far have left me incredibly excited. But I do wonder, though, what it would have been like if they would have (or even could have!) revealed everything all at once. I guess it's because I'm from a more "instant gratification" generation. One giant press release/celebration instead of all these smaller celebrations (but again, I do like how things have played out). Man... I don't think my heart could handle that!

I don't believe that Reynolds is getting dropped. I believe that Disney will let him make a few more R-rated movies, and when/if his series will run out of steam, they'll reboot the character and bring him to the MCU.

Feige is not going to use Reynolds' take on the X-Men as the foundation for his own. He's a man who likes to have complete control; he will add the X-Men to the MCU when he's ready, not when Reynolds is ready.

Remember Disney's old tagline? Dreams do come true? Yeah, that basically epitomizes this deal. This was unthinkable less than a year and a half ago but now, here we are

I feel confident that work on the X-men will begin as soon as the deal is made official. They got Spider-man in the MCU in under two years.
