Marvel certainly plan things carefully. But Feige also said a few times that he always has plan Bs in case they get the rights back for this or that character. And they managed to work Peter into Civil War quite fast. Who knows what they could've done with FOX characters if the deal closed early in 2018.

Probably a lot. Wouldn't have been surprised if Reed himself would have had a small role in Endgame. Look at the way Feige does things

Here's what happened the last time Simon Kinberg oversaw re-shoots of a film that he(along with the studio) didn't like the initial cut of.

Yeah, at this point, Feige knows how Mutants and the FF will fit, so it would be simple to drop a quick references or show a quick scene that fits with that plan.

A scene that mentions Reed Richards or mutants or Victor Von Doom would be very easy to drop in as long as it fits the plan.

When they were shooting Captain Marvel and Endgame, they knew there was a good chance this deal would be done by the time those films were released, and there would be no legal prohibitions preventing Feige from having them film some "alternate takes". If the deal had fallen through, they might have to make sure those scenes stayed on the cutting room floor, but Marvel wouldn't have been breaking any laws by having RDJ read a scene in which he mentioned "Victor Von Doom" as one example.

I don’t get how personal relationships/politics can get you films when there are guys out there who can make a film that much better. I do agree on DP though. It’s win-win. I have every reason to want it to be great, and still get to enjoy MCU X-Men after.

I think Endgame (including credit scenes) should be about the MCU experience to date, with credit scenes that help resolve and tell the epilogue of beloved characters. Particularly any we might not see again for a long time. But from FFH onwards they can go wild on unveiling future plans. It’s so soon after anyway.

I think whether we get something or not is all about what Feige wants to reveal and when he wants to reveal it. The deal will be closed very shortly and Feige knows it will be closed very shortly, so Feige's choice - rather than the closing date - is the real determining factor.

Exactly! As much as I want to see Doom/Latveria in EndGame/Far From Home, a mere mention of Latveria or perhaps some news report confirming a takeover of the nation from "Victor Von Doom" would be enough to have me have a permanent smile on my face LOL

You've got to admire his tenacity at least. However, if I were him, I'd try and get an original film made first then see how likely that is.

I really hope they get an unknown to play Remy Lebeau. I don't think there's any Hollywood star that can really encapsulate Gambit's charm and appeal and I've always been against Tatum taking the role from day uno.

Gambit should be a Disney+ show, not a movie. In fact, a Rogue/Gambit series would be a great idea. Those two have so much history to explore, and a limited series would be the perfect format for that.

Down the line a Rogue/Gambit, Mr & Mrs X series would be great. But I think both would benefit from being in the ensemble MCU movies first. Deep down, I really hope we get a X-Men Blue movie and then a X-Men Gold movie.

But that's the 90s baby in me talking.
