This is getting really positive word of mouth so far among people I know, even people who I don't think are X-Men fans at all, the only people I've seen not liking it are the super comic fans that don't really hate it but have some disappointments here and there.

I realize no one cares about RT anymore now that the film is out, but just to update, now at 125 reviews. 10 Rotten.


We can still afford another 15 rotten reviews to stay in the 90's when all is said and done, but at this point we're probably not going to drop all that drastically. May 2-3 percent.

I agree with this review on many points.

Though it irks me by spelling Erik's name as "Eric".

Looks like my original prediction of 88-92% was right I just had a feeling this film was gonna be the first for the X-Franchise to get an above 90 score, at the least I felt it would match X2. I hope the bad reviews don't start to all of a sudden flood in.

The films can’t seem to get past the Civil Rights parable material at the expense of the copious other potential X-Men stories to be told onscreen. The moral debates are the same ones we’ve heard since 2000 and the story treads very little new ground.

This is my main bother with the X-Men movies. There is more to the X-Men than this. But they keep re-treading it with different window dressing.

Still, i'm definitely going to check this film out and judge for myself.

The top critics score is just amazing.

It is usually lower for most films like TASM2/CAP2/Godzilla and all the X-Men films but this time its higher!

Thats more or less determined more so by box office numbers...fingers crossed!

I LOVED it but for me personally CA:TWS was just a tick better. But Im way more of an X-men fan than anything else so seeing the scores so high brings me emence joy. I would love this movie to be the highest scored and reviwed of all cmb movies!!
