Relax dude, he´s not the first to do captions with a similar theme in different threads. I like to call them a run. And Proto Goblin indeed looks like a crappy character.

Having Proto-Goblin is an excellent idea because it already hints at the Green Goblin as well as add a large chunk of depth to Norman Osborn, showing that he does not care for human life and will willfully test on anyone for his own cause.

Of course, he may not be used also.

Reasoning with them is a mistake. They've made up their minds that they're going to hate Proto-Goblin regardless of circumstance, regardless of the fact that he's unconfirmed, regardless of everything.

I can see the usefulness of Proto-Goblin. He's a throwaway villain that nobody gives a **** about so they can use him essentially as a plot device to move the story of Osborn forward. As I understand it, the Lizard is gonna be the main villain in this movie, not Proto-Goblin. It's all in the execution of the story. I'll reserve judgement for now.
