BvS The Superman Suit Thread - Part 2

I still prefer to MOS shield. The thickness of the "S" puts me off -- it's not quite as elegant. But, as with anything, I will get used to it.

Yeah, it's lost it's shapeliness. I also preferred the shine the old shield had.

I've made a comparison between MoS and BvS, and under those pics I've put together couple Mos pics from various locations to show how different those colors can be, and how that drives me crazy!! t: That suit has no definitive color!

What you are observing is why there exist people are are experts with photography.

The suit has a definitive color but you are either seeing it through filters(anything officially released) or on a compromised set.

Like blue is going to look very different out in the open with various degrees of lighting vs being on a green screen set.

Also the muscle suit is silver and the blue is see through. Those muscles are not painted too much onto the surface of the suit. The light is reflecting off the silver pads covered by the blue mesh.

Also I think even the video of the dunking is color corrected.

This is also assuming they simply don't have various suits of various colors.


You know i miss the gold lines on the waist and dark blue cuffs. Maybe they didn't show up well on camera and were just redundant. I'm still not a fan of the buckle. It's so tiny and just there.

Yeah I love the colors here, especially the red for some reason, but its wishful thinking. Filters similar to MoS will most likely be used.

Not sure I'm digging the square buckle right now, nor the waist lines.

I think the square works better in terms of integration with/into the suit. The oval shape I like better in general but it just sat on top of the MOS suit which was a little strange.

But both suits are great.

It's funny that when it's the MOS suit people say "the blue needs to be broken up" but when it's a Marvel character with a one-color bodysuit then it's perfect and the response is overwhelmingly positive.

I'm glad they got rid of a lot of the shiny, reflective sheen of the mos suit for bvs. I never liked it. He looked like a latex condom, especially the full body shot of him walking towards faora and gigantor in smallville. Lol

I loved it, it made it look more alien to me.

I respect that. But on a serious note, imo it just made him look to.....pretty. it reminded me a bit of that Twilight crap. Like he sparkled. I don't know. Just felt off. Still that's just my pet peeve. It never distracted me or made me hate the movie. Just a preference.
