I'm with Paste Pot on this one; I'd rather not see Batman get a new suit because Bane beats him up or whatever.
Well, one of the purposes of the Bat-suit is to help him take down whatever enemy he's up against, a gradual evolution doesn't have to be that bad. Bruce has been using specialized suits for years in the comics, it's a joke now? Besides, I hope they change the suit. TDK was cool as hell, but it's not THE bat-suit.
Not gonna lie, I wish Batman displayed a little more agility in the movies.
True, the way Nolan answered that was how martial arts-savvy fighting scenes look more like choreographed dancing than actual combat. Maybe he's just not a fan? But you're right, a little more JAB, KICK, POW wouldn't be too bad.
Ah. A hater of the yellow logo then? I say it's perfectly consistent. The bat logo has only been getting smaller in the movies anyway so just slap a yellow oval behind it so people can actually see it.
I wouldn't call myself a 'hater', just wouldn't prefer it in these films. I like the alternative, bat-only symbol, and I love the symbol that Nolan's made. I want to see that done more justice on the costume, instead of the yellow logo. And colour-wise the only way it wouldn't seem off on the suit is if it's a breed of that gold utility belt.
You're missing the point. These guys have full range of movement with their limbs. Bale can't turn his neck, far less for flip around. And yet this is supposed to be the same material?
Again, I'm not familiar with the Tron costume. But if the same material was used in BATMAN BEGINS I would say the suit's limited maneuverability came from the way the neck and cowl were of a single piece. The limbs here don't look any different. And, to be honest, it's held together like TDK's suit, so I wouldn't be surprised if the design had anything to do with it.
And just because we're on the subject, the ability to 'not move his head' didn't affect the believability at all. At least not for me. I barely noticed it. The most visible was Clooney's, but that's because the man refused to keep his head still.
God... Those Norm Breyfogle panels are stunning.
Let's face it, we are never going to get a ''comic-book'' suit in a Nolan movie. Maybe next time.
Exactly my point, I love that classic suit. Let's wait for "BATMAN'S BACK!!!" or some other thing after this trilogy's over.
